Peaks & Pints New Beer Six-Pack: 6.8.25
Welcome to your Sunday in a box — a six-pack so stacked, it might just file for LLC status. From hazy dreams to dark hearts, floral whispers to propane wisdom, this lineup covers the full hop spectrum with swagger. Whether you’re sipping in the sun, crushing cans in contemplation, or chasing the sour-sweet peach haze of summer nostalgia, these six beers have a fresh take, a clever twist, or a straight-up bold attitude. Let’s pop some tabs and get acquainted. Cheers!
BAERLIC BEER STAY FRESH IPA: Brewed with 100 percent Pilsner malt, giving it a crisp, dry backbone, and Citra, Cashmere, and Comet hops for candied orange, spring flowers, and dank grapefruit, 6.7%, 16oz
CLOUDBURST BREWING PEDESTRIAN AT BEST: “This is a modern pale ale brewed with mostly Citra and Motueka hops,” explains Cloudburst. “We think it’s neat because it’s like an IPA but with less alcohol, less bitterness, and more harmony between soft crackery malt character and lemon limey citrusy meets yellow peachy hop character. Why aren’t these more popular? WE WISH WE KNEW! Even Courtney Barnett wrote a song about them, and still – no buzz. She’s all like “you’ll love it, you’ll hate it, on the fence, it all depends. Put it on a pedestal, it’ll only disappoint you. Call it exceptional, it’ll exploit you”. And guess what – she’s not wrong. So just give us 3.5 stars already while you crush multiple pints of this delicious nectar, you Debbie Downers you,” 5.5%, 16oz
LUCKY ENVELOPE BREWING BLACK HEART: As part of their 10th Anniversary celebrations, co-founder Barry Chan collaborates with five of the incredible brewers who have spent time as his partners in beer. A collaboration with former Lucky Envelope now Georgetown brewer Kyle Jungck, Black Heart Dark Lager is the “broodier, malter-ego of our bright and crisp Barley Rae Jepsen collaboration,’ according to Chan, 5.2%, 16oz
MATCHLESS BREWING KING OF THE CHILL: “Bobby, do you know what it takes to brew the perfect beer for Summer? Asks Matchless. “Of course not, so let me tell ya, son. You’ve got to start with a good, clean base malt. Think of it as the foundation, just as propane is the foundation for any good barbecue. Next, ya gotta use hops and hopping accessories. Hops like Comet, Moutere & Triumph will produce bold notes of tangelo, grapefruit, and lime zest. What you end up with is a pale and exceptionally drinkable ale. It’s a dang ‘ol Summer smasher, I tell you what, son,” 5.5%, 16oz
PRAIRIE ARTISAN ALES SIDE PEACH: Sour ale crafted with peach puree and peach rings, 5.5%, 12oz
TRAP DOOR BREWING D.R.E.A.M: A 2023 Alpha King Challenge Top 21 contender, this west Coast IPA is layered Mosaic incognito, Mosaic, and Mosaic Cryo alongside Krush and some dank Nelson to create a modern fruit forward double IPA that still carries some classic dank bitterness, 8.2%, 16oz
