
Peaks and Pints Tacoma Sandwich Special: Slaw & Order
Sunday, June 8, 2025: Peaks & Pints Kitchen Kylee created today’s sandwich special with turkey, barbecue sauce, cole slaw, pickles, and light mayo on French bread. Enjoy this summer backyard treat inside an air-conditioned craft beer bar, bottle shop, and restaurant in Tacoma’s Proctor District.
PAIRING: Silver City Brewery Ridgetop Red
This sandwich is rich, tangy, creamy, and slightly sweet, with a bit of crunch and acidity. A great beer pairing should cut through the richness, complement the sweetness of the barbecue, and balance the tang of the slaw and pickles. Silver City Brewery’s Ridgetop Red does just that with its malty sweetness and moderate bitterness complementing the barbecue sauce and balancing the vinegar in slaw and pickles.

CLOUDBURST BREWING TALUS A STORY: “…and it better be punny!” screams Cloudburst. “So, here we are brewing another beer with HBC 692 and like, THAT SAME DAY, Yakima Chief gives this hop a name. Coincidence?! Pshhhh we think not. It’s been an awesomely unique hop for years – with notes of papaya, passionfruit, raspberry, cherry, ruby red grapefruit, coconut chips, lime….basically a bright, delicious fruit salad.
