On these sunny, warm days you almost feel like you’re experiencing spring for the first time. You’re cherishing every ounce of sunshine, the fresh tang of plant life bursting with yellow blooms — and pollen. And you’re enjoying drinking craft beer on your patio. Here are six to consider. …

Bear Republic Brewing

THRU THE HAZE IPA: Bear Republic’s hazy IPA is back with all the aromatics of Vic Secret, Citra and Hallertau Blanc hops in a more juicy, less bitter and bracing profile than typical Bear Republic IPAs. Thru The Haze IPA exposes tangerine and strong melon character with a hint of Concord grape. 6.4%

Dogfish Head Craft Brewed Ales

WORLD WIDE STOUT: Brewed with a ridiculous amount of barley, World Wide Stout is a certified “sipper” that needs to be taken seriously. It leans toward an English barleywine with alcohol-soaked raisins, bold dark fruit, faint coffee and deep-down chocolate. The wave of alcohol warmth and heat are balanced by the dark malts almost to perfection. 18%

Great Divide Brewing

ROADIE GRAPEFRUIT RADLER: Inspired by the annual BoulDurango, where some of Colorado’s most tenured brewers join up for a 400-plus mile ride, this radler brewed with natural grapefruit puree. This easy-drinking ale pours a hazy sunrise gold, bursts with citrus aroma, dry and slightly tart and is a seriously refreshing beer. 4%

Ninkasi Brewing

PILSNER COLD FERMENTED LAGER: Ninkasi emerged from the lab with their take on a Northern Germany style pilsner, brewed with two different kinds of Pilsner malt, plus German Magnums, Saaz, Tettnanger, and Hallertau Mittlefruh hops bobbing around in filtered McKenzie River water via the Cascades. It’s sweet and light, crisp and complex. 4.7%

pFriem Family Brewers

NECTARINE GOLDEN ALE: The Hood River brewery aged their Nectarine Golden Ale in fresh Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc barrels, before adding ripened local Flavortop Nectarines. After another six months of aging, the resulting aromas of marmalade, graham cracker and citrus zest, and notes of peach nectar, cantaloupe and Sauvignon Blanc leap from the glass. 6.9%

Two Beers Brewing

HERE FOR A GOOD TIME, NOT A LONG TIME IPA: A hazy brewed with Citra, Mosaic, and Amarillo hops with a delightful tropical nose and citrus fruity, grapefruit, orange, peel, tropical fruity, mango, and peach flavors. Good times! 6.4%
