Eight Tacoma breweries brewed beers in tribute to the Beatles’ Revolver album, which will be poured at 6 p.m. in The Copper Door.

Grab some Tums, and prepare your livers, beer fans — Tacoma Beer Week is upon us. And it may just be the best one yet.

THE COPPER DOOR: In celebration of the 50th anniversary of The Beatles’ Revolver album, Peaks and Pints and The Copper Door (host venue) will spin the psychedelia and studio artistry of Revolver, as well as other Beatles’ tunes, while pouring beers inspired by songs off Revolver brewed by eight Tacoma breweries: Harmon Brewing Co., Pacific Brewing & Malting Co., E-9 Brewery, 7 Seas Brewing Co., Odd Otter Brewing Company, Tacoma Brewing Co., Narrows Brewing and Wingman Brewers. Each original beer comes with a playful name to match the song title or lyrics. 6 p.m., no cover

LOCAL BOYS TAP ROOM: Why wait until nighttime to host a brewer’s celebration? Local Boys Tap Room, located next to the Purdy Bridge, hosts Two Beers Brewing Co. and Seattle Cider Company beginning at 2 p.m. Five kegs of deliciousness will flow until close (the last brewer’s celebration ran until 1 a.m.!). Tall deliciousness rep Brett Thompson will hand out swag.

PARKWAY TAVERN: The 81-year-old craft beer Mecca pumps its weekly Randall Night full of Fremont Brewing Co. The Seattle brewery’s Summer Ale will make its way through the Parkway’s Randall while Interurban IPA, The Brother Double IPA, 2014 B-Bomb, 2015 Bourbon Barrel Dark Star and 2015 Coffee Bourbon Barrel Dark Star flow from the taps. 6 p.m., no cover

EDISON CITY ALEHOUSE: Andrew Babcock, co-owner of Edison City Alehouse, went on a long bicycle ride yesterday to clear his mind and get the blood pumping for his South Tacoma bottle shop and taproom’s Tacoma Beer Week events, which kicks off tonight with Pacific Brewing & Malting Co. and Three Magnets Brewing Co. hugging it out over beers. Ryan from Pacific will man the barbecue. Three Magnets will present a firkin of a hoppy, dark Saison brewed by the Olympia brewery in collaboration with Logsdon Farmhouse Ales. 6 p.m., no cover

THE RED HOT: Speaking of Pacific Brewing & Malting Co., the Tacoma brewery will also kick off Tacoma Beer Week at The Red Hot, taping Simcoe IPA, Mosaic Pale and Boysen The Hood Wheat. Expect raffle prizes. 5 p.m., no cover

There is life in the outside world too. …

THE PIG BAR: The downtown Olympia watering hole hosts Three Creeks Brewing from Sisters, Oregon. It’s excellent beer. 6 p.m., no cover
