Positive-Perspectives-Learning-the-Art-of-Unconditional-JoyPeaks and Pints Pal Kristi Bowman Morgan is a positive person. She speaks positively. She writes positively. We’re positive you’ll love her as much as we do. When the Tacoma native, University of Puget Sound graduate and frequent Peaks and Pints patron asked us to host her release party for her latest book, Positive Perspectives: Learning the Art of Unconditional Joy, we gave her a positive response. Expect positive vibes, her requested Hop Valley Brewing Citrus Mistress IPA and Morgan chatting up her book at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 28 at Peaks and Pints in Proctor.

Positive Perspectives: Learning the Art of Unconditional Joy is a daily journey of thoughts and reflections designed to teach you the path to happiness.

According to Morgan, “The root of all joy is often how we approach the day that is before us. Regardless of our circumstances, joy is not based on conditions.  The joy journey simply takes time. The more effort we put in, the more results we will see and the better we will feel in our minds, bodies and souls.”

“By carving out time to read the regular reflection and having a space to record your thoughts on each inspirational topic, you will experience a shift in your thinking and understand the tools you need to accentuate what encourages you. When we expect good things and start to allow positive thoughts to guide our daily routine, our outlook will gradually and effectively change for the better.

“Let Positive Perspectives be a healthy reminder to revamp your outlook. As you intentionally focus on the gifts of your journey, be inspired and uplifted through the pages of this book knowing that learning the art of unconditional joy is a process that develops through dedication and determination.”

Hang out with Morgan at 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 28 at Peaks and Pints. She’ll sign copies of Positive Perspectives: Learning the Art of Unconditional Joy, which are $15.
