Peaks and Pints Instagram Outsider: Pitcher Gush, Fresh Hops, Cotton Candy

From Hilltop Business Crawl to Campfire Coffee opening, new beer releases to summer goals, Peaks and Pints Instagram Outsider returns today with a photo essay of our favorite Instagram posts from the past week. Be sure to keep tagging us @peaksandpints for your chance to be featured on Peaks and Pints Instagram Outsider. And, please, wash your damn hands; wear your damn mask. (Over your mouth and nose. And stay away from people.) Until we meet back here again next week, cheers to you!

This was like one of those really long grueling hikes. You know the end result is going to be worth every step, but along the way, you feel every feeling and think every thought. You start out with all the excitement in the world and you feel like you’ve done everything to prepare but inevitably, the trail starts to kick the whole living shit out of you and everyone with you. But you band together with your people and in our case it’s been all of you. Our family, our friends, our tribe. We launched our gofundme in May of 2019 and about 30 of you stepped up. When construction went haywire in September of 2019, many of you stepped up. When the shut downs hit, THOUSANDS of you stepped up to help us carry the load. You fought with us. And a few of you who we are forever indebted to actually PHYSICALLY came and built with us when things got way over our heads. Sure, we sold out of stuff and you may not know it but we NEEDED every single last one of those sellouts. We didn’t get any relief funds as we were denied twice so Campfire depended on every single one of those transactions. This was the rough part of the hike where some people turn around and head back but YOU kept us going. Whitni and I cried some tears of pride and joy last night. And we know there will be more tears like the ones we’ve experienced all along the way. This is just the beginning, we know we’re going to mess up, some might not like the menu, the drinks might not be perfect in the world of Coffee snobbery. But that’s all good because we’ve got y’all, and y’all got us. And we’re going to grow and learn together. This is special guys. And we couldn’t be happier to be here with all of you. August 2020. Nearly 2 years after releasing our first coffee ever, nearly 2 years after our lives were flipped upside down and we decided to go right side up into coffee…

#Repost @theredhot with @make_repost ・・・ We have a house IPA that we collaborate with different brewers on. We carry that collaboration for a year, only changing on our anniversary. Our next house IPA debuts tomorrow, August 19, and we are pumped to pour it. We had our pals at @e9brewingco steer this one into creation. It’s a 6% beer made with Simcoe, Mosaic, & Citra, and dry-hopped with Amarillo & Chinook. An incredibly delicious, straw-colored West Coast IPA. We hope you enjoy it as much as we have. Available to enjoy in-house, or in Crowlers to-go #trh253 #theredhot #trh #tacoma #tacomabeer #tacomabars #craftbeer #houseipa #craftbeerhotdogsnojerks #ontapTRH #ontaptac #ontaptacoma #6thAveTacoma #6thAveDistrict #instabeer #beerstagram

🍬🍬NEW. BEER.🍬🍬 . “The Fair is Cancelled” – Cotton Candy Gose . Abv- 4.7% . Well with the fun of the fair passing us by this year. (RIP Washington/Puyallup State Fair). Dante had to revisit his roots as a childhood Puyallup fair-ticket salesman and relieve his daytime lunches of earthquake burgers and cotton candy….but really just the sugary part. Pouring a VIVID and MIND NUMBING BLUE from cotton candy floss additions this beer is sure to make you reminisce about getting sick off to many rides and greasy food. While presenting a HUGE cotton-candy aroma this beer is NOT cloyingly sweet. The tartness rounds out the sugar-spun whimsicalness and leaves you with a beer that is amazingly drinkable in the summer heat! Think dipping a small piece into your beer glass! Get ready for a summer-fling with us at Sig, because it seems like the only way we can “Do the Puyallup!” this year. . Available for orders online as well as sales in-person! . #sigbrewingco #cottoncandy #candyfloss #sweettooth #sugarspun #itsblue #nonotthatonebeer #wehaveourownbluebeer #havingfun

One day in the future, we hope to swing our Taproom doors open to let you all inside for a beer again. Until then, here’s a little glimpse of our new hallway mural! Our designer @spiritofgoodliving has been working on this massive piece for a while now, and he absolutely killed it with the design and execution. If you have Beer Garden reservations this weekend, you can get a glimpse of the mural from the customer bathroom entrance just inside the front door. We’ll have more footage of the this thing going up in the coming weeks. In the meantime, we’re still taking online orders for drive-thru pickup from 12-7pm, 7 days a week, and taking reservations for our High Summer Beer Garden 7 days a week as well. All information is on our website (holymountainbrewing.com)

Don’t mind the mess, we’re just really psyched to freshly can Charlie’s Delights, Blueberry & Blackberry Pavlova! The timer is at 16 hours and counting down until the online shop closes for this weekend’s drive-thru sale at our south #Corvallis Tap Room. And don’t forget about our ridiculous sale on Block 15 IPA 4-packs and cases! To celebrate the last days of summer, 4-packs are going out the door for $8.00, and cases are deeply discounted to $40.00—this week only. That’s a little over ONE dollar a can! Head to the link (https://b15tr.square.site) and get your order in before 8:00am tomorrow morning! Due to it’s limited availability, we do not plan on sending Charlie’s Delights, Blueberry and Blackberry Pavlova out for distribution to accounts around the Pacific Northwest. So, if you’d like to get yourself a 4-pack or two, make a trip to Corvallis to see us!

One of the best feelings in the world is being included. Give it to someone else too. – Bryan Skaunak // For #globalclimbingday it is excellent to see so much conversation about access, inclusion, and building a more equitable future. // Growing up I didn’t see a person with a disability climbing to help motivate me to believe that dream. Thankfully as an adult climber, I’ve come to know, and daily be provoked by, many adaptive athletes around the world. What helped convince me I could truly one day climb ice, even though I had one hand, was seeing a picture of @thenorthface athlete Maureen Beck using a prosthetic ice tool. That’s all it took for me to believe in myself when I previously doubted. // The generations coming up after us will walk in deeper confidence through representation. We can do this. // We are an outdoor community capable of transformative support. We are human – kind (be both).

Meet Milo, our oak-fermented saison. This complex little beer is an homage to the descendent critters that make up our house saccharomyces saison yeast blend. Fermented wholly in oak wine casks for a more expressive yeast character and a touch of woody dryness in the finish. Now available for for Prepay’N’Pickup, Home Delivery and long walks in the mountains. Oh and that other guy is one of our beer tenders @kevinkusmaximus, but it’s clear that Milo is stealing the view, right! . . . 🍻 Ordering link in bio: Prepay’N’Pickup or Home Delivery . 🗣Tag a friend that needs to see this. . ‪#baerlicbrewing #selfdistribution #pdxbeer #portlandbeer #oregonbeer #craftbeer #drinklocal #beernerd #beergeek #craftculture #pdxbeertogo #photooftheday #beer #beers #pdxbusiness #pdxlocal #pdxsmallbusiness #pdxdelivery #pdxlove #brewery #pdxbrewery ‬#oregoncraftbeer #oregonmade #portlandmade

Shoutout to @craftcanning – big THANK YOU for waiving the canning fee on ‘Say It Loud: Stout and Proud’ to add additional support 💰 to @seaurbanleague and this collaborative effort #drinkBEERdoGOOD #thankyou #blacklivesmatter #blackisbeautiful #regram @metierbrewing ・・・ We have joined up with @hellbentbrewingsea to brew Say it Loud, Stout and Proud! This collab was inspired by the Black is Beautiful campaign, a national effort led by Weathered Souls out of San Antonio, TX. Their aim is to bring awareness to the injustices that many people of color face daily. An MBC customer favorite, the Pale Stout, was brewed at Hellbent with locally sourced coffee from @boonboonacoffee and the art was created by local artist @thecurlynugget This beer benefits the critical work of the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle (ULMS). ULMS empowers African Americans and other diverse underserved communities to thrive by securing educational and economic opportunities. This beer is available now on tap at Métier & Hellbent with a small selection of cans available at Métier & Boon Boona Cafe. #packagedbeer available in cans at Hellbent too #getitwhileyoucan #nicecans #HellbentBrewing #MetierBrewing #BoonBoonaCoffee #ULMS #collaboration #drinkWAbeer
