Happy Tuesday! As clear as the sun in the summer sky, Peaks & Pints’ 6-Pack of Things To Do is more than a feeling.

6-Pack-Campfire-Coffee-8-18-20OPENING DAY: Following a more than 9-month hike through steep construction and COVID-19-related delays for inspections, relying on selling just whole beans, Quincy and Whitni Henry are welcoming guests into their coffee campground today. Campfire Coffee is open for business in downtown Tacoma, pouring the coffee they roast over an open campfire flame. As you can imagine, Campfire Coffee’s 1,400-square-foot shop sports an outdoor theme with forest imagery camping chairs, and an electric fire pit. 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., 1554 Market St., Tacoma

6-Pack-Beer-Flight-8-18-20BEER FLIGHT: Block 15 Brewing wasn’t the first brewery in Corvallis, that honor goes to Oregon Trail Brewery, which homebrewer Jerry Shadomy opened in 1987. Nick and Kristen Arzner were on Oregon Trail’s tail 21 years when they opened Block 15 in the 1926 Gazette-Times newspaper building, just blocks away from Oregon State University and its prestigious Fermentation Science program. The Arzners took full advantage of Willamette Valley’s agricultural abundance, which, of course, includes hops. Block 15 built a reputation for first-rate IPAs and other hop-forward ales, rock-solid renditions of classic recipes from around the world and a dazzling variety of Belgian-style brews, including cask-conditioned specialties featuring wild yeasts and exotic flavors. Today, Peaks and Pints presents a to-go flight of Block 15 craft beer that we call Peaks and Pints Pilot Program: Block 15 On The Fly. 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Peaks & Pints, 3816 N. 26th St., Proctor District, Tacoma

6-Pack-Air-Hockey-8-18-20AIR-HOCKEY: Before that fateful moment, you would join your friends at the mall and idle away the time. There were many diversions: the movie theater, those amazing toilets that flushed automatically, and Cinnabon. Yet your favorite activity was to boldly stride into Brookstone and stake your claim at the air-hockey tables. You would play for hours, tournament style, until someone was crowned champion. The staff didn’t seem to mind; they were as bored as you were, happy to have the distraction. Then one day, a new manager appeared. He walked over to you and calmly said, “Buy something or get out.” Your air-hockey future collapsed. Then you found Dorky’s Arcade in downtown Tacoma. Yes, there was magic on those Brookstone tables, but you and your friends dig Dorky’s air-hockey tables, their pizza and air-conditioning. Noon to midnight, Dorky’s Arcade, 754 Pacific Ave, Tacoma

6-Pack-Eastside-Farmers-8-18-20MARKET DAY: This week the Tacoma Farmers Market continues their 30th Anniversary celebration with a focus on farmland preservation. Shopping at farmers markets is a great way to support local farms, and between TFM’s four markets, they have 27 farms bringing in the freshest local produce. The Eastside Farmers Market runs this afternoon with a wide array of locally sourced fruits and vegetables, honey, flowers, baked goods, and food trucks. 3-7 p.m., 3500 McKinley Ave. E., Tacoma

6-Pack-Rainier-Growlers-8-18-20BINGO AND BREWERS NIGHT: Rainier Growlers hosts its weekly Bingo And Brews in the cloud and first-come first-serve seating tonight. The South Hill craft beer bar will stream their bingo in a Zoom conference room style from 6-9 p.m. featuring five rounds with Tyler and Mike as the hosts. Ben and crew will hand out bingo cards until 6 p.m. No purchase is necessary, but they’ll have several Grains of wrath beers on tap. 6-9 p.m., Rainier Growlers, 13105 Meridian E., South Hill Puyallup, Rainier Growlers Zoom Room (password: growlers)

6-Pack-The-Grand-8-18-20MOVIE: The Grand Cinema Virtual Screening Room streams filmmaker Hillary Bachelder’s documentary on three women running for political office in the heart of the American Midwest. Equal parts personal and political, Represent follows the women on both sides of the aisle who share the singular goal of improving their community through public service. Myya attempts to spark a youth movement and unseat the incumbent mayor of Detroit; Bryn, a farmer and working mother in Granville, Ohio, runs for township trustee; and Julie walks a tightrope between her identities as a Korean immigrant and Republican candidate for State Representative in a liberal Chicago suburb. $12 movie
