Peaks & Pints Yonder Monday Cider Flight

Share

Founded in August 2020 by CEO Caitlin Braam, with cidermaker Monique Tribble helping steer production from the beginning, Yonder Cider arrived in Wenatchee like a cheerful little rebellion against boring apples. The mission: savory, slyly sweet, occasionally sneaky-strong cider that refuses to behave like polite orchard juice. These are ciders with opinions. Some even dress like cocktails. Braam has never been shy about that part.

The operation now pours from a Ballard taproom shared with Bale Breaker Brewing — Yakima hop country shaking hands with apple country under one very happy roof — and recently opened Yonder East in Cashmere, a roomy mid-century-inspired hideaway tucked along Side Street. Think basement lounge energy, mountain air drifting through a generous patio, and glasses of cider circulating with the casual confidence of something that knows exactly what it’s doing.

The liquid itself begins with a thoughtful blend of bittersweet cider apples and juicy dessert varieties, a combination that keeps everything lively and a little unpredictable. Nothing here aims for safe or simple. These ciders tilt savory, wander into cocktail territory, flirt with bitterness, and generally behave like the most interesting guest at the orchard party.

Which is why Peaks & Pints decided the only sensible response was to pour a whole lineup. Swing by and explore the Peaks & Pints Yonder Monday Cider Flight — a small tour through Braam’s mischievous orchard imagination, served right here in Tacoma where we appreciate apples with a little attitude.

Peaks & Pints Yonder Monday Cider Flight

Yonder Cider Crescent

6.9% ABV | Hard Cider | Wenatchee, Washington

Bright orchard character leads the way, crisp Washington apples gliding across the palate with faint hints of red-fleshed fruit, the whole thing lively and refreshing — the kind of clean, easygoing cider that feels like standing in the middle of apple country while a harvest breeze slips through the valley.

Yonder Cider Palisades

6.5% ABV | Blackberry & Sage Hard Cider

The orchard edges grow wilder here, ripe blackberry tumbling into bright apple while a whisper of sage drifts through the finish, adding just enough herbal intrigue to keep things interesting — brambly, juicy, and pleasantly untamed.

Yonder Cider Mazama

6.9% ABV | Botanical Hard Cider w/ Orange Peel & Pear

Citrus peel flashes first, lively and aromatic, before crisp apple settles in and a gentle pear note rounds the edges, creating a bright, breezy pour that feels like the first warm afternoon when the mountains start hinting at spring.

Yonder Cider Thunderpussy

6.9% ABV | Cherry, Ginger & Lime Hard Cider

Dark cherry storms in with confidence before ginger snaps to attention and lime slices through the middle, the whole crimson affair buzzing with hibiscus tang and a playful streak of orchard sweetness — lively, bold, and impossible to ignore.

Yonder Cider Velvet Cashmere

9.0% ABV | Botanical Hard Cider w/ Amaro

Then the lights dim and things turn luxurious, cranberry and dark cherry settling into smooth apple while bitter orange and herbal amaro weave through the finish, creating a plush, cocktail-leaning cider that lingers like the last intriguing conversation of the night.
