Peaks & Pints Sunday Structures Beer Flight

Share

Structures Brewing has always carried itself like a quiet rebellion — born in Bellingham with a chef’s palate, a brewer’s restraint, and zero interest in shouting just to be heard. Since 2015, they’ve stacked medals and respect with a kind of calm inevitability: early Best New Brewery nods, Great American Beer Festival hardware, and a steady national hum around beers that don’t just meet style, they bend it slightly, reshape it, make it their own. Lagers with backbone. Haze with intention. Big beers that somehow keep their composure.

And this year? Structures has moved through the Tournament of Beer like something patient and deliberate — not chasing attention, just collecting wins. Round by round, they’ve leaned on balance, texture, and that unmistakable sense of control, quietly outlasting louder, flashier runs. It’s not the kind of momentum that screams. It’s the kind that stays.

So this flight isn’t a victory lap. Not yet. It’s a snapshot of how Structures operates when everything is dialed — five beers tracing a line from crisp restraint to full-throttle excess, each one connected by that same steady hand. Take your time. Let it build.

Peaks & Pints Sunday Structures Beer Flight

Structures Junior

4.1% ABV | Hazy Pale Ale | Bellingham, Washington

Light on its feet and just a little mischievous, citrus peel and lime zest darting through a soft haze while a faint pine edge keeps things from floating too far off, letting flavor outrun expectation at this ABV, the whole thing breezy, expressive, and gone a touch too quickly.

Structures Fuzz (Simcoe & Nelson)

7.2% ABV | Hazy IPA

A fuller voice enters here — white grape, ripe peach, a wash of tropical brightness layered over a plush frame shaping the haze into something deliberate rather than dreamy, the finish smooth but not sleepy, leaving a faint echo that pulls you back in for another look.

Structures Floral IPA

6.8% ABV | Hazy IPA

More lifted, more aromatic — orange blossom and soft citrus drifting upward before a subtle grapefruit edge steadies the line, Structures balancing sweetness and structure with a careful hand, the whole thing feeling open, expressive, and quietly radiant without tipping into excess.

Structures Subterranean

6.8% ABV | West Coast IPA

It hums from below the surface, a low, glowing current of citrus and pine rising up through flashes of dried blueberry and something faintly sweet, almost cotton-candy strange, the bitterness clean and precise, cutting just enough to keep the whole thing from drifting into dreamland, Structures keeping this one sharp, grounded, and just a little mysterious, the finish crisp, echoing, and lingering like a signal you didn’t realize you were following.

Structures Dreamthieves

12.5% ABV | Quadruple Hazy IPA

And then the floor drops out — dense waves of mango, peach, and citrus folding into deeper currents of berry and resin, warmth rising slow but certain, the brewry pushing every lever forward without losing control, the finish long, saturated, and just dangerous enough to make you pause, smile, and go back in anyway.
