Peaks & Pints New Incline Cider Flight

Share

Incline Cider remains very much a Zehner family operation — founded by Jordan and Chris Zehner in 2015 and still guided by the same restless, orchard-driven vision — but the footing beneath it has shifted in a meaningful way. After years in a shared production arrangement, the cidery made a clear-eyed decision to take full control of its future: new production home, new processes, new people, and entirely new recipes built from the ground up. The change wasn’t incremental or cosmetic. It was decisive. Eighteen months of reinvention compressed into a single hard pivot, all in service of one idea: ownership — not just of the brand name, but of how cider is conceived, fermented, and allowed to evolve.

This flight captures that moment of self-determination in motion. Each pour reflects a post-transition identity — familiar in spirit, unmistakably new in execution — where fruit feels brighter, balance sharper, and structure intentional rather than inherited. These aren’t recreations or echoes; they’re statements of control and confidence, cider made by people who decided to stop negotiating with yesterday. Peaks & Pints is proud to pour this chapter as it’s being written, inviting you to taste what happens when a cidery chooses to build forward instead of looking back.

Peaks & Pints New Incline Cider Flight

Incline Cider Golden Pineapple

6.5% ABV | Pineapple-Infused Apple Cider | Tacoma, WA

Sunlight hits this one first. A clean Washington apple backbone sets the line, then ripe pineapple spills across the palate with a glow that feels tropical without tipping sticky or loud. The aroma flashes fresh-cut fruit and a hint of citrus lift, while the sip snaps crisp, balancing juicy sweetness with acidity that keeps everything upright and refreshing. Nothing drags, nothing overstays. It finishes dry enough to invite another pull — like a warm afternoon that remembers to cool itself down just in time.

Incline Juicy Peach

6.9% ABV | Peach-Infused Apple Cider

Ripe stone fruit takes the spotlight here, but with manners. A crisp apple base provides structure before real peach juice rolls in with sun-warmed ease — flesh-forward, aromatic, and confidently lush without drifting into candy gloss. The nose reads like a roadside fruit stand at peak season, all soft perfume and orchard air, while the sip stays buoyant and refreshing, acidity keeping the sweetness honest. There’s a relaxed glow to it, bright but composed, the kind of cider that flirts and smiles without leaning too close.

Incline Tangy Tangerine

6.9% ABV | Tangerine-Infused Apple Cider

Brightness arrives sharp and cheerful, like peeling fruit over a cutting board instead of popping candy from a bag. Fresh tangerine zest lights up the nose — all oils and snap — before folding neatly into a clean apple base that keeps the whole thing lifted and precise. The sip moves brisk and lively, citrus leading without bullying, finishing with a faint peel-tinged bite that resets the palate and asks for another pull.

Incline Wildberry

6.9% ABV | Apple Cider with Wild Berries

Color leads the way — deep, brambly purple — followed by aromas of ripe berry skin, cool orchard air, and a whisper of summer just past. Blackberry, raspberry, and blueberry sweep through with juicy confidence, never tipping into jam, anchored by an apple backbone that keeps everything taut and refreshing. The sip stays lively and fruit-forward, with a subtle tannic grip underneath that reminds you this is still cider, still paying attention.

Incline Blackberry

6.9% ABV | Fruit-Infused Apple Cider

Twilight-bramble color announces itself before the aroma follows — cool blackberry skin, orchard air, and a faint wild edge. On the palate, real blackberry lands juicy and tart, riding a crisp apple base that keeps the whole thing agile and clean. Acidity tugs gently through the middle, a touch of earth grounds the fruit, and the finish snaps dry instead of lingering sweet. Balance wins over bravado here, delivering a berry-kissed cider that refreshes your palate rather than wearing it out.
