COWICHE CANYON FRESH HOP ALE, Fremont Brewing: This wildly popular small-batch fresh hop pale ale blends organic Citra and Simcoe hops grown exclusively for Fremont on a single farm at the mouth of the Cowiche Canyon Conservation area in Yakima. Cowiche Canyon Fresh Hop Ale is Washington state’s first Salmon-Safe certified beer. A portion of all sales fund the Cowiche Canyon Conservancy. 6%, 12oz

GOOGLY EYES, Wander Brewing: This double IPA sees Mosaic, Cascade and Citra hops in the kettles for a bitter, earthy, orange-y, crazy mix of hop complexity with a light body and medium sweetness. 8.5%, 16oz

JOLLY ROGER CHRISTMAS ALE 2018, Maritime Pacific Brewing: A beer fridge staple, Jolly Roger English Strong Ale combines rich malt character with a blend of fresh Northwest Chinook and Cascade hops. This year, Maritime gave its famous winter ale a spruce treatment. Spruce tips have been used in the brewing process for hundreds of years. They were one of the main additions in beer before people learned about brewing with hops. The fresh, tender tips have a mellow pine scent and a crisp flavor. 9.2%, 12oz

JOURNEY TO PLANET FRESH HOP, Wild Ride Brewing: Prepare to experience a flavorful journey that only takes place once a year! Fresh hop brews use hops that are freshly picked and transported immediately for brewing. These hops are not dried prior to being shipped, which creates a unique flavor profile in these styles of beers, including having a lower bitterness and an earthy profile. Wild Ride’s Journey to Planet Fresh-Hop uses Nugget hops from the Willamette Valley. The use of Nugget hops creates flavors that can be described as pleasant, spicy, and herbal. Expect all of these flavors to be blended and balanced into this pale ale, which will take you and your taste buds to a different world. 6.6%, 22oz

NOW YOU’RE SWIMMING, Three Magnets Brewing Co.: The Olympia brewery picked fresh Simcoe hops at Carpenter Ranches and Citra at Perrault Farms. Using 20 pounds of field fresh wet hops per barrel picked less than 8 hours beforehand, Now You’re Swimming is dripping wet with lupulin dreams and overflowing with lemon cake, passionfruit, and pine. 6.4% ABV, 16oz

SCOTTY SCOTCH ALE, Three Magnets Brewing Co.: This scotch ale hits that spot with a big malt backbone built on Thomas Fawcett’s Golden Promise malt backed by an array of Caramel, Chocolate and Aromatic Munich malts. 8.1%, 16oz
