Peaks and Pints Instagram Outsider: Alien Cake, Porch Drops, Beer Hug

From Batsquatch paddlers to large men with li’l dinghies, mustard beer to dogs with beer, Peaks and Pints Instagram Outsider returns today with a photo essay of our favorite Instagram posts from the past week. Be sure to keep tagging us @peaksandpints for your chance to be featured. And, please, wash your damn hands; wear your damn mask. (Over your mouth and nose. And stay away from people.) Until we meet back here again next week, cheers to you!

Summer Shandies are here! Were celebrating the hot weather with a refreshing mix of beer and house-made lemon soda. Choose between classic Lager shandy or Bitter Shandy, or try it with our seasonal Summer Ale (pictured here). New Washington State restrictions on breweries and other business start today. We are now only offering outdoor seating and service, with only indoor access for using the restroom. Fortunately the weather is looking great and we have plenty of outdoor space, plus lots of to-go options ready to pick up as well. If you’re thinking of coming by, please know that we are super focused on providing a safe space and experience for customers and staff. Bring masks, be respectful of space and distance from others around you, and enjoy your day out in Georgetown!

The very first beer we made back in 2018, Our First Take Time, is now on draught in our tasting room! After extended aging in oak and then in the keg, it’s tasting great. Sometimes delicious things are worth the wait. We are also excited to be pouring two new guest beers! @otherlandsbeer opened in Bellingham last month and we couldn’t be happier to showcase their Haladuda Specjal Polish-Style Pilsner. Well-crafted and highly refreshing, especially in a week of summer heat! We’ve had a keg of Brettalicious Wild Yeast Saison made by our longtime friends at @oersoepbrouwerij (Netherlands) since we opened and are glad to finally share it with you. It’s likely we are currently the only place pouring this beer in the country, so stop by for a glass soon!
