Peaks and Pints Beer Parade 2.23.20

Hello everyone! We’re live at Peaks & Pints in Tacoma’s Proctor District for this Sunday’s Peaks & Pints Beer Parade. The Peaks bartenders are brushing off their hangovers and ready to parade their favorite beers of the week.

Oooohhhh, this week’s grand marshal is Melanie Rushforth, executive director of Northwest Spay & Neuter Center. She has a rare morning off from a fundraising breakfast gala. We’re lucky to have her leading this week’s parade.

Here come the bartenders … looks like Nicole leads … and she’s still waking up. She’s carrying her favorite boozy sparkly water, Oskar Blues Wild Basin Lime. She’s headed for coffee now, no doubt.

Just like clockwork, here comes Joe. Looks like it’s time for Pelican Brewing’s The Dankest Hour IPA. Who has time for a dank IPA?

Phaedra didn’t attend last night’s Hops and Props so she’s feeling great. She’s parading Pike Brewing’s Wood Aged Kilt Lifter Scotch Ale. Scotch scotchy scotch scotch, huh Phaedra?!

Out of the garden and into the Beer Parade for Bethany. She’s getting her hands dirty with Garden Path Fermentation’s amazing Fruitful Barrel wild ale with tayberries and cherries. How does your garden grow, Bethany?

Hey! It’s Max! Oh, and Bam! He’s showing off Oskar Blues Bamburana, the 12.3-percent imperial stout collaboration with Cigar City. This imperial stout is aged in whiskey and brandy barrels with figs, dates, and Amburana wood spirals. Wood eye!

It’s crazy Mitchell with a crazy reverse-melting for Belching Beaver Brewery’s Melty Hops Double IPA. By the way, it’s crazy delicious.

Justin brings up the rear again, this time parading his favorite low-calorie IPA, Slightly Mighty by Dogfish Head. He must work out.

These beers and cider are in our cooler to parade around your house. Cheers folks!
