Nothing makes Peaks & Pints feel cozier than the smell of pancakes in the morning or relaxing at home with the fluffiest slippers and a hot mug of coffee in hand. This satisfaction we experience during mornings is inextricably linked to food, specifically breakfast or everyone’s favorite … breakfast beer. Breweries countrywide have turned to the day’s first meal for inspiration, tossing oats, coffee, maple syrup, milk sugar, tea, and even cinnamon rolls into the brew kettle, devising brews fit for at the breakfast table. We’re not saying not saying you should replace your morning cup of joe with beer every day, but enjoying a flight of breakfast beer is perfectly acceptable, if not encouraged. Here are five breakfast beers worthy of an all-day breakfast beer flight we’re calling Peaks and Pints Beer Flight: Breakfast. We’re not judging.

Timber French Toast By Campfire
6% ABV
Timber Ales’ Snack Sized Stout Series features Snack Sized Stouts (12 ounces) at Snack Sized ABVs (6-percent) conditioned on a Snack Sized portion of adjuncts to showcase their base. French Toast by Campfire has been conditioned on maple syrup, coffee from Mostra, and cinnamon. The aroma is a wonderful mix of things sweet and candied and mysterious. The taste is a thick amalgam of breakfast flavors, with thick being the operative word. It finishes sweet and sticky.
Great Notion Double Stack
11% ABV
Great Notion has won multiple awards for their imperial breakfast stout, Double Stack, including gold at the World Beer Cup 2018 Awards and a silver at the 2018 Great American Beer Festival. Double Stack is fermented with substantial amounts of maple syrup and aged on whole bean Sumatra from local Oregon roasters. It hits the nose with some blueberry, strawberry, and earthy notes from the coffee beneath the thick layer of maple. The thick maple transfer to the taste with milk chocolate sweetness and a lingering creamy finish. The coffee adds some dryness on the finish, but it’s still a sweet-flavored stout.
American Solera We’re On A Roll
