We are devastated by the fires in our backyard. Sharing a powerful story from a truly amazing Rogue fan. Hang in there everyone! ❤️ “Some losses are greater than others……I survived the Alameda Fire (was living in Talent.) Unfortunately, my home and all my belongings did not. The majority of my possessions weren’t even recognizable. However, I did locate the case of Dead Guy Ale I had recently purchased – or, what was left of it. I guess I just found it tragically amusing! Attempting to find light in very dark times! I guess I’ll be going on another beer run! Love your beer! Keep doing what you do so well – will no doubt help me keep going over the ensuing weeks/months/years as we re-build……”

This isn’t a fish tale: Fresh Catch, our fresh-hopped pale ale will be available this Saturday at our south #Corvallis Tap Room. Brewed with 100% fresh Willamette Valley Strata hops from our friends at @crosbyhops, Fresh Catch is a bounty of tropical fruit, ripe citrus, and fresh berries. Pre-orders for Fresh Catch will be begin tomorrow when the Drive-Thru Sale online shop opens, with the general sale of draft and 16oz cans available when our doors open at 11:30am. Can’t visit us in Corvallis this weekend? No sweat. Look for Fresh Catch to begin making its way to accounts around Oregon and Washington starting next week. #FreshHops #DeliveringHoppiness #Block15 #PaleAle

it’s that time of year again – Oktoberfest ? our Oktoberfest-style Lager is as traditional as it gets, using malt and hops straight from Germany, this malt forward, full bodied Amber tastes like Bavaria in a glass! at 6.4% it sure pairs well with a salted pretzel and the Mountain View from our beer garden, come celebrate Fall with us in Packwood! also, we’ll have Hourglass IPA- 8% and double the hops. This super juicy double IPA is very limited, it’s on until it’s gone! DAYS / HOURS: Mon – Thursday 2-9pm Friday – Sat 1-10pm Sunday 1-8pm ??????????? our thoughts are with all the fire fighters, first responders and volunteers working hard to keep us safe thanks SO MUCH for helping support our small business during the past few months! It hasn’t been easy on any of us but we are so lucky and blessed to have amazing customers and community that helped us along just enough to keep the lights on. It means the world to us! please stay safe and healthy!

Fresh Cans of My Fishing Buddy Lager! ✨ I said “Easy big fella!” My Fishing Buddy // Dry Hopped Lager // 5.5% Lager brewed with a fairly simple malt combination of German Pilsner and Vienna Malt. Hop additions in the boil and whirlpool of Southern Hemisphere Wakatu and Kohatu. After fermentation and six weeks of lagering it is filtered and dry hopped with a copious amount of Wai-iti, imparting awesome lime/mandarin citrus and peachy stone fruit aromatics. Catch ‘em on their freshest run! #E9brewingco #e9brewing #e9taproom #drinkbeer #beerlovers #tacomasfirstcraftbrewery #tacomadrinks #craftbeer #beer #localbeer #instabeer #tacoma #tacomadrinks #taproom #beercelebration #brewery #brewer #grittycity #brewerydistrict #cheersdistancing #socialdistancing #cheersfromafar #tacomasfirstcraftbrewery #nokettlesours #weeklypizzaspecial

Update: More Cowiche Canyon at the Urban Beer Garden tomorrow ? The beer in this can represents our brewery so perfectly. Sure, it’s brewed with organic, Salmon Safe hops that speak to our love of the Earth and our commitment to make the lowest impact on it as we brew. And it’s also a true partnership, between us and our farmer friends in Yakima’s Cowiche Canyon. You can also point to how the beer gives back, with proceeds going to the Cowiche Canyon Conservancy, as they preserve this unique landscape. But probably what makes Cowiche Canyon Fresh Hop so Fremont is that it’s a wacky idea to commit to buy a farmer’s entire crop of hops even before they are planted because you like the people, respect their land and believe in getting behind new ways to farm and brew sustainably. It’s fitting that Cowiche Canyon Fresh Hop would release on the first day of fall, which ushers in the harvest season. We think this beer is the closest thing to walking amongst the hop fields at harvest. Cheers! #FreshHop #FreshHops #FreshHopBeer #SupportFarmers #SupportLocal #FarmStrong #DrinkWABeer #DrinkLocal #CowicheCanyon #FremontBrewing #Organic #OrganicBeer #brewery #beer #Craftbeer

“We take great pride in processing the day’s fish and crab in our own backyard,” says Joe. “It’s a family operation. We process, clean, and cook the crab, so it’s ready to eat, and we handle each fish to our own high standards. The meat is fresh, tender, and unlike anything else. We keep it very, very cold. I’ve never had a guest who didn’t love it.” Wendy Hay, Joe’s wife, does the fine work of filleting, and the family sends each guest home with a bag of ice and a carefully-compiled photocopied set of their own favorite recipes. ~ Then — sometimes with the guests, and sometimes after they’ve hit the road — it’s time to take a load off. “I don’t know if there’s a single day that goes by that we don’t gather together as a team to discuss the day and debrief over a beer,” says Joe. “Cracking open that first can marks the end of the day’s work, and it creates a sense of camaraderie. It’s an important ritual, and it’s easily one of my favorite parts of our day.” ~ Read the full story of Joe’s adventures > Link In Bio #UPDRIFTADVENTURE ~ Adventurers Joe Hay from @haystackfishing / Photos by: @alexandrapallasphotography + Writing by @charlotteaustin – #PelicanBrewing #Bornatthebeach #doryboat #PacificCity

We were honored to collaborate with @chuckshopshopcd and @chuckshopshopgw to create a fresh hop lager that supports the dedicated work being done by @kingcountyequitynow. Cans are only available at Chuck’s and 100% of the proceeds will be donated directly to KCEN. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We realize that this project was not so much about the beer as it is about supporting the trustworthy organization, King County Equity Now, but for those curious about the beer: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The goal was to make a beer that emulates the aromas and textures sensed when stepping into a hop kiln on harvest day. Fresh alluvial Simcoe was used three times on the hot side: during transfer to the boil kettle, in the boil kettle itself and then run through the hop-filled mash tun on it’s way to the fermentation tanks. After fermentation, the beer was conditioned on Seattle grown fresh cascade hops for two days. The final addition was supposed to be fresh, Oregon grown mosaic hops but the wildfires and 2020 had different plans so we had to dry hop with mosaic pellets at a rate of 1 pound per barrel. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Malt: Pilsner, Vienna, Munich Hops: Fresh Simcoe, Fresh Cascade, Mosaic Pellets Yeast: 34/70 Lager ABV: 5.5%
