Hood River’s mighty pFriem Family Brewers returns to Tacoma next Thursday for one of Peaks & Pints’ most beloved annual traditions — a holiday tap takeover so stacked, so shimmering with world-class beer, that our 20-foot tree feels almost underdressed.

This year’s lineup is a proper December feast:
• West Coast IPA — a fresh, snappy collab with Green Cheek
• Pilsner — pFriem perfection in its crispiest form
• La Mûre — blackberry elegance, electric and tart
• Stonefruit Cuvée — radiant, orchard-bright complexity
• Rye Lager — spicy, clean, absurdly drinkable
• Nelson Pale — a Sauvignon Blanc-kissed hop dream
• Passionfruit Hazy — tropical, soft, wildly aromatic
• CDA — a shadow-and-sunlight Cascadian masterpiece
• Belgian Christmas — holiday warmth in liquid form
• Cognac Strong Dark Ale — deep, brooding, beautifully refined
• Distiller Blender’s Reserve — rich, layered, contemplative
• Distiller Barrel Cuvée — a barrel-aged symphony for winter nights

And because a pFriem party isn’t a pFriem party without family, Farmer Matt (Matt Kotwasinski) will be in the house — spinning stories, talking grain and terroir, and generally radiating pFriem.
