Aloha, Tacoma—Modern Times Beer is back, resurrected from distribution exile and floating into Washington taps once again on a warm island breeze, thanks to its new tiki-loving overlords at Maui Brewing. Naturally, Peaks & Pints is throwing a lei-drenched, luau-laced welcome-back bash Friday, Feb. 24, transforming their Proctor District shrine of hops and cans into a mini paradise where Modern Times and Maui brews will flow like a steel drum melody over your sunburned subconscious. From 4 to 7 p.m., expect rare pours, tropical tunes, and an enthusiastic call to arms: Hawaiian shirts are not optional—they are destiny. Because nothing says “West Coast reunion” quite like coconut porter in one hand and a playlist full of steel guitar in the other.
