A Barleywine Carol 2025

December 24, 2025 @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pm
Share

“A Barleywine Carol” returns to Peaks & Pints on Christmas Eve as a daylight celebration of one of beer’s most patient, generous, and misunderstood styles. This special midday mini-festival leans into Fezziwig joy rather than midnight hauntings, offering a warm, communal send-off to the year before we close for the holiday.

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., we’ll pour ten barleywines spanning English and American traditions, including a rare Fort George Etymology vertical featuring the 2023, 2024, and 2025 releases. Each year explores the evolving meaning of barleywine through extended barrel aging and layered blends, turning time itself into a drinkable conversation.

Throughout the afternoon, the Ghosts of Barleywine Past, Present, and Future quietly make their rounds, reminding us that the best barleywines are meant to be opened together, not saved indefinitely.

No cover. No speeches. Just thoughtful pours, shared tables, and a few unspoken revelations before the holiday begins.
