Kendall Jones Returns To The Grit & Grain Podcast

Just hours before the Grit & Grain Podcast hit record, Kendall Jones published a new article on his longtime platform, the Washington Beer Blog, diving into the Brewers Association’s addition of Mexican Lager to its official style guidelines, hot on the heels of their episode on the style. Vera Nice!

The Agricultural Research Service has announced a new public aroma hop: USDA-ARS Vera. USDA-ARS Vera originated from a former Washington State University hop breeding program in Prosser, Washington. The name “Vera” honors Vera Katherine Charles, a pioneering USDA mycologist who worked extensively on fungi and helped build the National Fungus Collection. (Craft Brewing Business)
