Peaks and Pints Escape To Stout Mountain

Share
Peaks and Pints celebrates February Stout Month by tapping six stouts through the month.

Peaks and Pints Escape To Stout Mountain

Now in its sixth year, this year’s Peaks & Pints February Stout Month celebration — this year titled “Peaks and Pints Escape To Stout Mountain” — has all the things you’d expect: powerlifters with snarky comments, scads of barrel aged stouts; banished porters trying to sneak on draft; Fremont Brewing grabbing headliner status; in-jokes for those who have actually climbed Stout Mountain near Salem; and lots of frenetic action in lieu of supply chain co-operation.

In others words: A kick ass time!

The Tacoma Proctor District craft beer lodge, bottle shop and restaurant will tap five stouts on our Western cedar tap log through February for in-house enjoyment and Campfire Crowler carry outs. From our barstool or from your couch, enjoy stouts, milk stouts, masks, imperial stouts, pastry stouts, masks, Russian imperial stouts, nitro stouts, masks, and other stouts made with malts that are roasted to within an inch of their lives, making them inky black, thick as Alaskan crude and intensely flavored.

PEAKS AND PINTS ESCAPE TO STOUT MOUNTAIN, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, Feb. 1-28, Peaks and Pints, 3816 N. 26th St., Basecamp Proctor, Tacoma, no cover

Safety Is Priority Number One

Face masks must be worn when not eating and drinking — especially ordering from the bar or on trips to the restrooms.

One of the most fulfilling aspects of our craft beer and cider bar, bottle shop and restaurant is being a gathering place for the community. It’s a role we do not take for granted, and there are many responsibilities that come along with it — the health and safety of our guests and staff being at the top of the list. As a neighborhood restaurant, we take pride in our commitment to providing a clean, safe, and vibrant environment. Please rest assured that Peaks & Pints has built upon these best practices to follow the COVID-19 protocol provided by the CDC.

We’re open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, but we hope to return to “before times” hours when we’re able to seat at full capacity.

Hope to see you soon.
