Welcome to Peaks & Pints, that sudsy sanctuary in Tacoma’s Proctor District where 650 or so bottled and canned miracles chill like tantric monks awaiting your gentle grasp, while 28 taps (including nitro, because mouthfeel is a moral imperative) pour forth the sacred in every fermented form. While craft beer remains our north star, we pour with love for cider mystics, wine romantics, kombucha alchemists, and cold brew zealots alike. And today, in honor of Tacoma Beer Week, we offer something soft, sly, and unreasonably sippable: Kulshan Brewing’s Oaxacan Sunrise Mexican Dark Coffee Lager, a collaborative daydream with Tacoma’s own Bluebeard Coffee Roasters and their Santa Maria Yucuhiti de Oaxaca beans. This isn’t your jittery caffeine bomb—it’s a slow burn of subtlety: graham cracker hush, cocoa winks, praline sighs, cinnamon warmth, and a ghost of plum. It’s restraint in a glass.
