PREFUNK: Peaks and Pints has a crush on Urban Family Brewing Co. The Seattle brewery brews amazing sours. Today, we have Urban Family’s Orchard Reflection (6.7% ABV) pouring from our Western red cedar tap log. Brewed with apricots, peaches and apriums from Collins Family Orchard in Selah, Washington, Orchard Reflection swims in a foeder for a delightfully fruit-forward, lightly tart, delicious sour.

7:45 P.M. TACOMA FILM FESTIVAL OPENING NIGHT: The 12th annual Tacoma Film Festival kicks off tonight at The Grand Cinema launching 180 films, more than 150 films with premier status, as well as 100 filmmakers attending, through Oct. 12. Tonight’s film, Bill Nye The Science Guy by David Alvarado and Jason Sussberg documents Nye’s mission to stop the spread of anti-scientific thinking.

9 P.M. NIGHT OF ONE-LINERS: Laughway House Productions presents a night full of one-liners from professional comedians including headliner by Narin Vann at The Swiss Restaurant and Pub.
