Tuesday, July 15, 2025: Behold The Hula Melt, our sun-dazed ode to edible escapism, where teriyaki chicken does a slow dance with melty Havarti beneath a pineapple sunburst, while mayo and romaine offer a creamy, verdant crunch like a polite beach towel handshake. All of it cozied up on a French roll that clearly missed its train to Bordeaux and settled, instead, for a hammock in Kauai. It’s a sandwich with tan lines. A vacation between carbs. Warning: may cause spontaneous ukulele solos or the sudden need to rethink your life choices—preferably with sand between your toes.

PAIRING: Fort George Brewery City of Dreams Pale Ale

Pair The Hula Melt with City of Dreams, and you’ve essentially booked a round-trip ticket to the breezy edges of summer itself. This pale ale, all lush mango whisper and citrusy suggestion, slides in like a soft-spoken dreamer in mirrored shades—cutting the sweet-savory teriyaki with just enough hop bite, tickling the pineapple into brightness, and coaxing the creamy Havarti into something borderline flirtatious.
