Every harvest writes its own delirious scripture, and Single Hill Brewing keeps revising the gospel in resin, steam, and sweat. This year’s Energy Cone — first dreamed up in 2020 with Bottleworks and Full Throttle Bottles and now brewed with five bottleshops in full Devo-hat glory — is the centerpiece of a flight that spans their wide orbit: Skyfinder, a Strata-and-Simcoe rocket ride through citrus nebulae; Flight Cancelled, a malt-kissed Czech amber that makes missing your gate feel divine; Last Light, a black-cloaked fresh hop IPA glowing like embered grapefruit under Yakima stars; and Quiet Legend Pale, a bright, balanced hymn to hop subtlety, proof that not every legend screams — some whisper in citrus and pine, carrying the valley’s story in quieter tones. Together they chart Single Hill’s hillstory of the moment: fleeting, resinous, absurdly luminous, exactly as Yakima intends.
Peaks & Pints Single Hill Flight
Single Hill Quiet legend Pale
5.2% ABV | Pale Ale
Quiet Legend doesn’t shout, it hums — a pale ale tuned to the valley’s softer frequencies, where citrus and pine drift like afternoon light through a half-open barn door. Built on balance and understatement, it drinks crisp and clean, yet leaves just enough hop brightness to remind you that legends don’t always arrive with thunder; sometimes they slip in quietly, staying with you long after the glass is empty.
Single Hill 2025 Energy Cone
6.5% ABV | Fresh Hop Hazy IPA
Energy Cone isn’t just a beer, it’s a yearly rite of harvest madness — born years ago with Bottleworks and Full Throttle Bottles, widened with Bridge & Tunnel, joined by Peaks & Pints in 2024, and now with Walla Walla’s Beer Parlor completing the bottleshop pentagram. The 2025 brew day began at Single Hill’s brewhouse, split into caravans that raced across Yakima: Sauve & Son Farms for Citra bales stacked like citrus thunderclouds, Loza Farms for more green spoils, and CLS Farms for a final, sticky crescendo. All of it crashed back into the kettle in a neon haze of Sauve Citra, Loza fruit, and CLS resin, layered with Single Hill’s own Fresh-AF pellets until the air itself hummed. The result pours like citrus blaze tangled with mango sighs, resin crackle, and pine-cathedral smoke — a fleeting September hymn in liquid form. Drink it now, drink it loud, whip it while you can, because like all true fresh hops, it vanishes before you realize you’ve even tasted it
Single Hill Skyfinder Fresh Hop
6.9% ABV | Fresh Hop Hazy IPA
Skyfinder is Single Hill’s annual rocket-ride through Yakima skies — a hazy IPA stitched together from Roy Farms’ Strata and Van Horn’s Simcoe cones still damp with morning light, then layered with freshly dried Strata, Black Star Simcoe, and Loftus Dolcita until the glass hums like a pulsing neon core wrapped in mango silk. It drinks like passionfruit nebulae colliding with pine-green galaxies, a harvest constellation built for September nights when the stars feel sticky with resin and the air tastes like citrus static.
Single Hill Flight Cancelled
5.1% ABV | Czech-Style Amber Lager
Flight Cancelled is a copper-toned ode to malt itself, a Czech-style amber lager that tastes like biscuits baked golden in the belly of the earth, glazed with caramel dusk and chased by a whisper of herbal hops. It drinks clean, crisp, devastatingly easy — the kind of lager that suggests you might actually miss your gate on purpose, just to sit a little longer in its glow, watching the world flicker past with bread crust and nutty sweetness on your tongue.
Single Hill Last Light
6.0% ABV | Fresh Hop Black IPA
Last Light is harvest’s shadow-song, a black-cloaked IPA brewed with Centennial from C&C, Simcoe from Black Star and Van Horn, and Amarillo from Gooding, stitched with Single Hill’s own Fresh-AF pellets until it glows like embered blood orange under a starless sky. It drinks like roasted dusk colliding with citrus fire, pine smoke tangled with cocoa whisper, a strange and luminous paradox: fresh hops lit against midnight malt, a toast to the darkness that makes September burn brighter.
