Peaks & Pints Monday Imperial Cider Flight
Seattle Odyssey
8.4% ABV
Made with Seattle Cider’s custom blend of Washington apples and a cider-specific yeast, this imperial cider is bright with light acidity and plenty of fresh apple character. It’s back-sweetened with brown sugar to add a bit of complexity and to punch up the juicy apple qualities. Expect a fruit-forward nose, with stone fruit, apple, and cantaloupe at first sip.
Incline Imperial Hazy Honeycrisp
8.4% ABV
Since 2015, the Zehner family has made delicious, crushable cider, many from a dry-hopped apple base to pull out citrus aromas. Their Tacoma-based Incline Cider uses 100 percent fresh-pressed apples, no added sugar, and no carbonated water, and the result is balanced ciders, not too sweet, and super flavorful. Their Imperial Hazy Honeycrisp is full of apple character and reminiscent of a traditional cider. The crisp and light hazy cider sports a mild sweetness from the honeycrisp apples.
Schilling Excelsior Imperial Berrymassive
8.4% ABV
As part of their Excelsior Imperial Cider line, Schilling Cider’s semi-sweet blackberry and blueberry mashup spirals into a core of freshly pressed Pacific Northwest apples and heirloom bittersharp apples for a sweet berry, malty apple cider.
Portland Imperial Island Daiquiri
8.4% ABV
Portland Cider’s Imperial Island Daiquiri offers bursts of juicy pineapple, smooth coconut, and oranges’ bright citrus zest. Warm nutmeg comes through on the finish, lingering pleasantly.
2 Towns Ciderhouse Super Bad Apple
12.5% ABV
2 Towns Ciderhouse’s The Bad Apple is an imperial style cider, fermented with Willamette Valley meadowfoam honey and aged on Oregon white oak. The result is a semi-dry, apple-forward cider with rich apple, honey, vanilla, and oak notes, plus a long finish with lingering tartness and acidity. The Corvallis cidery bumped up The Bad Apple two points on the ABV scale, giving it a stronger apple character with hints of oak.
