This past Earth Day, Firestone Walker Brewing took the opportunity to celebrate its “Brewing for Tomorrow” initiative, which is the brewery’s part in making the planet a little bit better. “Brewing for Tomorrow is about being good stewards of our natural resources,” said CEO Nick Firestone in a media release. “It’s a mindset that drives every decision we make. From solar and water to carbon and sourcing local grains, we’re committed to crafting beer with a lighter footprint and a deeper connection to our home.” As part of its Brewing for Tomorrow platform, Firestone Walker continues to invest in practical, high-impact solutions that make brewing more sustainable. Recent upgrades include a newly installed system that offsets more than 4.4 million pounds of carbon emissions each year, on-site solar now provides more than 60 percent of the brewery’s energy needs, a custom-built water reuse system recycles over 500,000 gallons of water annually, and more than 20 million pounds of spent grain are repurposed as feed for nearby cattle ranches. Peaks & Pints salutes Firestone Walker’s conversation efforts with an all-day, Tuesday beer flight, Peaks & Pints Firestone Walker Beer Flight.

Firestone Walker Pivo Pils

5.3% ABV

Firestone Walker Pivo Pils is a smooth operator. It has a silky, foamier head than most other pilsners, while also sporting the lightest consistency and color, making it look a little like sparkling grape juice. Fruit scents like apple and tangerine tickle the nose, balanced by a tart, peppery detail that rounds out the sweetness nicely. After a potent aroma, the taste was deceptively subtle, balanced, and clean. Pivo is astonishingly — almost dangerously — drinkable.

Firestone Walker Firestone XPA

5.3% ABV

Firestone Walker’s 2023 GABF medal-winning XPA returns to satisfy with Nelson Sauvin and Mosaic-driven hoppy refreshment for notes of mango, orange zest, lime popsicle, peach, and strawberry.

Firestone Walker Firestone IPA

6.5% ABV

Firestone California IPA is a future-forward beer born of West Coast roots and Firestone Walker flair. It draws from the brewery’s nearly 20 years of experience with the ever-evolving West Coast IPA style. Various tricks learned from brewing Union Jack, Luponic Distortion, and Hopnosis have been incorporated into a single beer that rings all the bells of a modern California IPA. Brewed with Citra and Citra Incognito and liberally dry-hopped with Mosaic and Strata hops, Firestone IPA is loaded with fresh passionfruit and mango flavors.

Firestone Walker Wandering Don

7% ABV

The Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Fest was born from a dream of creating a world-class festival featuring some of the best brewers in the world. Each year, they invite one of these brewers to develop a special beer to reflect the fest’s spirit of connection and collaboration. The latest collaboration with Fort Collins’ Odell Brewing to celebrate the 2025 Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Fest, Wandering Don IPA, features bold tropical, pine, and citrus aromatics.

Firestone Walker Parabola 2025

14.1% ABV

Firestone Walker aged its imperial stout for a year in 12-year Elijah Craig and 11-year Henry McKenna barrels for this latest edition. These coveted bourbon vessels imparted signature notes of charred oak, nougat, espresso, and cinnamon, adding to the Parabola experience of black cherry, dark chocolate, vanilla, and roast coffee.
