Sunday, Nov. 17 2024: Peaks & Pints Kitchen Kylee added Artichoke Hearts to her Peaks and Pints Tacoma Sandwich Special: Happy Little Hearts complete with Salami, Pepperoni, Ham, Pesto, Mayo, Provolone, Bacon, Tomato and Spinach on French.

PAIRING: Cloudburst Brewing Happy Little Clouds

Because our Sunday sandwich special rains flavors, we suggest pairing it with Cloudburst’s award-winning pilsner, Happy Little Clouds. This version marks their 50th batch of this beer, which they brewed with their first batch recipe brewed in November of 2015. The foundation of Magnum, Mandarina, Saaz are in the kettle, a little Mosaic in the Whirlpool (in addition to more Saaz and Mandarina), and then the dry-hop was a blend of Saaz, Manadrina, Mosaic, and Huell Melon. While they’ve refined and tweaked and fine-tuned much about the process – the hop bill is surprisingly familiar. Not only will you taste notes of apricot, lemongrass and honeydew, this pilsner will cleanse your palate between bites.
