Peaks and Pints Snow IPA Flight

Share

First things first… SNOW. Snow prompts Peaks & Pints to think that the All Mighty, while she may not shoot craps with the universe as Albert Einstein said, at least has a sense of humor. She makes existence uncertain by conjuring up sea-level snow every now and then, but at no apparently regular interval, and throws in a few earthquakes, ice storms, floods, fires, and the like now and then just to let us know who is boss. Now what? Well, the original downhill pioneers damn near strapped entire tree trunks to their feet, doggedly steering them like great monoliths. Even though they were working up one helluva rash, those folks laughed and laughed. Times have changed, and so have the equipment, clothing, and attitudes. What hasn’t changed is the thrill one feels when the planks are strapped on. So, strap them on and make your way to Peaks & Pints. We’ll be open for all your sandwich and craft beer, cider, and wine needs, complete with an in-house flight of snow-themed IPAs, Peaks and Pints Snow IPA Flight.

Peaks and Pints Snow IPA Flight

Hellbent Fresh Tracks

6.5% ABV

Whether you’re making fresh tracks on the slopes or going to your favorite craft beer bar in Tacoma’s Proctor District, Hellbent Brewing’s new Fresh Tracks Hazy IPA is dry hopped with Krush, El Dorado, Cashmere, and Ekuanot for tropical fruit, peach, and cantaloupe flavors.

Kulshan Arctic Kat

6.6% ABV

Kulshan Brewing grabbed their classic flagship IPA, Bastard Kat, and reimagined it as a modern cold IPA that’s bright, crisp, and easy to drink. Bursting with citrus, pine, and floral hop flavors, this cold IPA boasts a clean and balanced malt body.

Single Hill Snow Cone

6.6% ABV

They said Single Hill Brewing couldn’t make a fresh hop beer in the winter. Peaks & Pints replied, who are these naysayers who don’t know the hop contraptions the downtown Yakima brewery possesses? Single Hill said, “Hold my beer.” Snow Cone is loaded with YCH 301 Flash Frozen Mosaic Cryo to bring you the taste of hop harvest.

Lumberbeard SnowBird

7% ABV

A juice bomb collaboration with CLS Farms and NZ Hops, Lumberbeard Brewing created a 50/50 blend of El Dorado and Nectaron hops for white peach, tangerine, and pear candy flavors.

Bale Breaker High Camp Winter IPA

7.3% ABV

Named for the ski lodge atop White Pass Ski Resort, High Camp IPA takes Bale Breaker’s signature hop-forward style to a darker side. It adds chocolate malts for a malty backbone of spice and chocolate. Dry-hopped with Cascade, Centennial, and Mosaic, the hop character in High Camp bursts with pine and grapefruit.
