Hellbent Brewing To Celebrate 10 Years

To mark its 10th anniversary, Seattle’s Hellbent Brewing will celebrate its 10th anniversary with an all-day party that goes into the evening on Saturday, May 31. Hellbent will release two anniversary beers: two versions of an IPA, a West Coast IPA and a hazy IPA. (Washington Beer Blog) 

Washington Brewers Festival Returns to Seattle

The Washington Brewers Festival is back at Seattle Center on June 20–21, 2025. Hosted by the Washington Brewers Guild, the event will feature a wide array of craft beers from across the state, along with cider, food vendors, live music from KEXP DJs, and unique attractions like SOS Pro Wrestling and Pink Boots Society Arm Wrestling. Tickets are on sale now, with general admission priced at $65 and early entry available for $90. (Brewpublic)

Oregon’s Brewing Output

In 2024, the 49 largest breweries in Oregon produced nearly 700,000 barrels of beer, according to the Portland Business Journal. This indicates a thriving craft beer industry in the state. Specifically, Deschutes Brewery in Bend led the way with 227,065 barrels, and Rogue Ales & Spirits and pFriem Family Brewers followed with 36,191 and 40,381 barrels, respectively. California Pilsner Named International Champion

Trumer Pils, which is produced in Berkeley, California, has been named “Champion International Beer’ at the 2025 Australian International Beer Awards. Trumer Pils was first awarded a Gold Medal in the German-Style Pilsner category, then was named Best Pilsner of the Competition, and finally competed against all styles of beer from outside of Australia to be named Champion International Beer.
