New Order has brewed a beer. The band has teamed up with Moorhouse’s Brewery of Burnley in Lancashire, UK to create a new craft beer, Stray Dog, after a song on their 2015 Music Complete album.

Portland’s St. Johns Neighborhood is beginning to become a haven of craft beer locations, including Royale Brewing. Today, the brewery will release its latest beer in its hop forward session beers with Mr. Session: Chinook.

The huge new Burnside bridge housing construction —  The Yard at Northeast 3rd Avenue and Burnside in Portland will be the home to new brewery taproom FERMENT. Owner/Brewer Dan Peterson and his wife Jennifer hope to open Ferment this Fall of 2016 as a beer lounge on the 5th floor mezzanine level of The Yard.

Craft Brew Alliance has officially opened its new Widmer Brothers innovation brewery, relocating the small-batch operation from a cramped corner of Portland’s Moda Center to the company’s primary brewing facility about one mile away.
