Oakshire Brewing Dark Days of February

Oakshire Brewing has included Peaks & Pints on their Dark Days of February Northwest tour. Thursday, Feb. 16, Peaks will pour their four dark and delicious Dark Days beers — Hellshire XII, Heart Shaped Box, Overcast Café and Visit Munich, plus their Shred Kindly Hazy Pale Ale — before they head to Astoria for Fort George Brewery’s Festival of Dark Arts and beyond.

Dark Days of February Beers

Hellshire XII is an imperial stout aged in Elijah Craig 12 Year Bourbon barrels, 13.5% ABV

Heart Shaped Box, last produced in 2021, is a bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout with raspberries, coffee, cocoa, and vanilla beans, 14.5% ABV

Overcast Café: Mexican Mocha is the first variation of the “Café” limited series. This Imperial version of Oakshire’s classic Overcast stout adds vanilla, cocoa nibs, cinnamon, and peppers, 8.2%

Visit Munich doppelbock is a strong, dark German-style lager cold-conditioned near-freezing temperatures for four months for an incredible malt profile and a deep amber color, 8.1%
