Frenz Night with Bale Breaker x Holy Mountain Brewing

For the latest release in the Frenz Collaboration Series, Bale Breaker Brewing teamed up with Seattle’s Holy Mountain Brewing to craft a West Coast Pilsner—a crisp, hoppy lager bursting with bold West Coast character. This brew delivers bright citrus hop aromas, assertive bitterness, and a clean finish, all wrapped in a playful tribute to Northwest myth: a night around the fire with Mothman and Thunderbird. A touch of “Cryptid mayhem” adds to the beer’s mystique, making this one-off collab as memorable as the legends it invokes.

The Tacoma release party will be held at Peaks & Pints on Tuesday, July 1, where we’ll also be tapping additional Bale Breaker and Holy Mountain beers. Even better, it’s Peaks & Pints co-owner Pappi Swarner’s birthday—and yes, there will be cake.

BLOCK 15 BREWING ALUMNI CLUB – SUNRIVER CHAPTER: Brewed in partnership with Oregon State University Fermentation Sceience alum Mason of Sunriver Brewing, this vibrant IPA combines Neo-Mexicanus Medusa and Amarillo hops, with additional layers from El Dorado, Talus, Sabro, Calypso Salvo, and Krush Hyperboost, plus a hint of flaked maize for a crisp and aromatic Southwestern-style IPA, evoking the flavors and aromas of high desert days and nights, with notes reminiscent of pineapple and grapefruit, 6.8%, 16oz

BLOCK 15 SUMMER KNIGHTS KOLSCH: Crisp, refreshing German-style Kölsch brewed seasonally with a clean, bready profile with subtle fruitiness, thanks to a blend of Pilsner, 2-Row, Munich, acidulated, and carafoam malts, along with Magnum and Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops, 5.3%, 16oz

FAST FASHION BREWING CROSSTOWN CLASSIC: Bold, West Coast-style IPA brewed in collaboration with Cloudburst Brewing with a vibrant hop bill of Citra, Citra Lupomax, El Dorado, Elani, and Mosaic for tropical fruit notes of pineapple and coconut blended with classic pine and grapefruit bitterness. ODD BREED WILD ALES REMNANTS OF FRUITION: Wild ale brewed with Pilsner malt, spelt, and raw wheat, along with aged Liberty hops and fresh Czech Saaz, and then fermented with its mixed culture on top of sweet cherries for two months before aging in French oak barrels for two years for a melange of stone fruit aromatics leading to faint cherry notes, bright acidity, and oak tannins lead to a clean finish, 6.2%, 500ml
