The mate was a mighty selling Beerman,
The Swiss captain tall and sure.
Twenty-five passengers drank ale last night
For a three hour beer and food tour, a three hour tour.
The weather started getting warm,
Wild greens topped with sliced pears salad was tossed,
If not for the steerage of the Swiss servers
The Kommuter Kolsch would lose its perfect-frost, the Kommuter Kolsch would lose its prefect-frost.
The dinner was grounded around beers from Bainbridge Isle …
With Kenny The Beerman
Jack McQuade too,
The house flipper and his wife,
The movie star
The Army nurse and the Steele clan,
Here at Bainbridge Isle Brewing’s beer-pairing dinner.
So this is the tale about Windfall Grapefruit IPA paired with Crunchy Crab Rangoon,
Arrow Point Amber and slow braised oxtail and a rustic Espanola juice,
Battle Point Stout and cinnamon twist towers,
piped full of vanilla mousse.
Swiss Manager Patrick Welcheck and Chef Jacob Thacker too,
Did their very best,
To make the others comfortable,
In the Bainbridge Isle Brewing meets Swiss nest.
No drones, no disco lights, no electric car,
Not a single macrobrewery,
Like Bainbridge Isle Brewing head brewer Russell Everett told the crowd,
It’s as craft as can be.
So we ended with Wing Point Winter Ale my friend,
And it generated many a smile,
A delicious winter ale nod to Christmas in July,
Here at the Swiss beer-pairing dinner with Bainbridge Isle.
