National Beer Day at Peaks & Pints: 3 Floyds Tap Takeover

National Beer Day at Peaks & Pints: 3 Floyds Tap Takeover
There are holidays that politely suggest celebration, and then there’s National Beer Day — the one that shows up with a crooked grin, a little history in its pocket, and a reminder that on April 7, 1933, America finally got its beer back and immediately remembered how to be human again. Peaks & Pints leans all the way into that spirit Tuesday night, turning Basecamp Proctor into a full-throated toast to freedom, flavor, and the beautifully stubborn art of fermentation.
This year’s twist arrives loud and glorious: 3 Floyds Brewing has officially landed in Washington thanks to Odom Corporation, and Peaks & Pints is celebrating with a tap takeover that feels less like a lineup and more like a graphic novel splashed in hops and roasted malt. Expect Wig Spitter Coffee Stout pouring like caffeinated midnight, Deluxe Lager snapping crisp and clean, Dreadnaught flexing its imperial IPA muscle, Gumballhead dancing citrus and wheat into a sly grin, Turbo Reaper bringing the heat, Zombie Dust doing what legends do, and Cocomungo Coconut Stout drifting in like a decadent tropical afterparty.
It’s history meeting modern myth — Roosevelt’s quiet “this would be a good time for a beer” echoing faintly behind a bar now stacked with some of the loudest, most beloved beers in the country. Swing through, raise a glass, and take part in that ongoing, slightly rebellious ritual of people gathering over something delicious and alive. No password required. Just thirst.
