Peaks & Pints Tacoma Sandwich Special: Provence Provocateur

Friday, June 20, 2025: Peaks & Pints Kitchen Aaron had southeastern France on the brain for his Friday Sandwich Special featuring sun-dried tomatoes, provolone, peppery arugula, tender chicken, mayo, oil & vinegar, and salt & pepper.

PAIRING: Russian River Brewing Jannemie Saison

Layered with sun-dried tomatoes, provolone, peppery arugula, and tender chicken, this French bread sandwich brings bold, savory flavors balanced by a splash of oil and vinegar. To match its herbaceous zip and creamy richness, we’ve paired it with Russian River’s Jannemie, a delicately tart and effervescent saison brewed with Brettanomyces and elderflowers. Jannine’s floral notes and dry finish cut through the mayo and cheese while lifting the tangy tomato and greens, creating a vibrant, palate-refreshing pairing.
