Saturday, Nov. 23 2024: Peaks & Pints Kitchen Kylee has done it again! Ham, Beer Braised Onions, Rosemary Cream Cheese, Chopped Bacon and Gouda on Sourdough. Gouda edges out the braised onions, bacon, and rosemary cream cheese for flavor king. The soup is Chickpea & Lentil

PAIRING: Old Stove Brewing Incinerator Doppelbock

Malty beers such as doppelbocks pair well with aged gouda. The malt flavor complement the nutty, earthy flavors of the cheese, while the sweetness provides contrast. Old Stove’s version sports the roasty, malty traits of a doppelbock, but with an air of sophistication.
