It began in 1880, when Fargo was still a dusty frontier pup and North Dakota wasn’t even a twinkle in the Union’s eye — a hulking brick-and-steel beast birthed by the Northern Pacific to fix locomotives and forge the iron dreams of a continent. It once stood at the heart of a sprawling rail empire, complete with a 28-car roundhouse and enough clang and smoke to make Vulcan himself weep. Then came the decades of drift — owners and purposes shuffled like worn playing cards, until the place sat hollow and aching, its bones creaking with stories, its soul still smoldering under the dust. This is where scientist Mark Bjornstad, builder Darin Montplaisir, business wrangler Jesse Feigum, and engineer Mason Montplaisir first hatched their Viking-soaked brewery fantasy — and by some unruly magic of dumb luck, sweat-dripping toil, and conspiratorial friends, they yanked it back to life in September 2014. They called it Drekker Brewing, but it became so much more than a mere beer hall: a glorious Valhalla of Fargo’s most delicious misfits — chefs, makers, shops, a raucous event hall fit for Loki’s own afterparty, and a hotel that swallows you whole in the Drekker mythos. Drekker SMOL – Blue Raz

5.8% ABV

SMOL is Drekker’s new line of fruited sours where they suppress all the dark urges to make things super weird and we just add the perfect amount of fruit to make them not quite so thick but insanely tasty and refreshing. This Smol was blasted with just the right amount of blueberry and raspberry.

Drekker SMOL – Passionfruit Orange Guava

5.7% ABV

SMOL Lil’ Fruited Sours still pack a ton of flavor, but they aren’t nearly as thick or pulpy as some of Drekker’s other beers. Just the right amount of fruit for a delicious and refreshingly light potion. This SMOL is a tropical banger of passionfruit, orange, and guava without lactose.

Drekker SMOL – Strawberry Lemonade

5.8% ABV

SMOL – Strawberry Lemonade is blasted with just the perfect amount of strawberry, lemon, and lemonade mix and it’s just absurdly tasty.

Drekker Braaaaaaaains: Raspberry Peach

6.3% ABV

Part of Drekker’s Braaaaaaaains pastry sour series, this double fruit smoothie sour is loaded up with raspberry, more raspberry, peach, more peach, then of course they hit it with their double secret smoothie treatment of sea salt, lactose, and vanilla beans.

Drekker Chonk Funky Monkey

7.8% ABV

Monkey Tail chocolate-covered frozen bananas are a wonderful summer treat. The ripe bananas have a wonderful creamy consistency when frozen, and the rich chocolate coating is delicious. You can vary the toppings to suit your taste, including drizzling with melted white or milk chocolate, or caramel. Roll them in shredded coconut, chopped nuts, sprinkles, or do what Drekker Brewing does — take their smoothie sour base and add banana, cacao nibs, peanut butter, black currant, plum, pomegranate, lactose, and vanilla beans.
