Great Divide Indoor Jeep Races
Jeeps careen around the Peaks and Pints wooden floor, climbing obstacles and striving for the finish line. Suddenly, a car hits a 19.2-ounce Yeti Imperial Stout. The crash is followed by laughter and good-natured taunts. With radio-controlled racing, it’s fast-paced action minus explosions, injuries, and all those annoying corporate endorsements plastered on cars. Who needs NASCAR when there are mini-motorheads maneuvering their cars for fun and beer? The Great Divide Indoor Jeep Races returns to Peaks and Pints at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13.
With one hand holding a snifter of Great Divide S’mores Yeti Imperial Stout and the other hand clutching a hand-held transmitters that send signals to their Jeep’s receivers, guests will race their radio-controlled Jeeps head to head through an obstacle course inside Peaks and Pints. There will be several heats with the winner receiving a major award. There will also be Great Divide lager, IPA and stout.
