The Daily Outside: Tacoma Trash Pandas, Oscar’s Enemies 3.8.26

Sunday’s Daily Outside begins with coffee, a pair of gloves, and Tacoma’s favorite morning-after ritual — wandering the Brewery Blocks to see what last night left behind and giving the city a quick reset before the next round begins.

Coffee, gloves, and the noble Sunday-morning question of who exactly closed last night

Who Closed Last Night?!
Tacoma Beer Week × Tacoma Trash Pandas × Oscar’s Enemies
Sunday, March 8, 2026 • 9–11 a.m.
Brewery Blocks Tacoma • exact meet-up spot TBD
Free • Registration encouraged

Tacoma Beer Week ends the way any self-respecting beer week probably should: with coffee in one hand, a trash bag in the other, and a little civic penance for whatever the brewery blocks endured the night before. “Who Closed Last Night?!” is a downtown cleanup led by Tacoma Trash Pandas, Oscar’s Enemies, and Tacoma Beer Week — part litter pick, part neighborhood love letter, part gentle reminder that celebration and stewardship can absolutely share a sidewalk.

Volunteers meet at 9 a.m. for equipment, PPE, coffee, and route assignments, then head out in teams to clean the historic Brewery Blocks. Organizers are asking people to register ahead so they know how many gloves, bags, and caffeine provisions to expect. There’s also a small but meaningful reward at the end: a custom Tacoma Trash Pandas sticker, because public service should come with a little flair.

What to know before you go
• Final day of Tacoma Beer Week, running 9–11 a.m. downtown.
• Gloves, bags, PPE, and coffee are provided.
• You’ll be assigned a cleanup route with a team.

Sometimes the Daily Outside is less about escaping the city and more about showing it a little love the morning after.
