Peaks and Pints Tap List: Sunday November 24 2019

Peaks & Pints, that frothy cathedral nestled in Tacoma’s Proctor District, continues its devout worship of all things liquid and luminous, housing 650-ish bottles and cans like relics in a chilled reliquary, with 28 taps (yes, including nitro for the texture fiends and creamy dreamers) pouring forth the sacred. And though craft beer is our true north, we warmly embrace the fermented fringe—cider, cold brew, wine, kombucha—because no one flavor should reign alone. Today’s altar pour? Breakside’s French Quarter, a sultry 11.1% nod to New Orleans’ Vieux Carré, brewed with three types of malted rye and aged 15 months in American brandy barrels. The result? A brooding, boozy jazz riff that drips with rye spice, warm oak, cocktail mystique, and velvet decadence. This is not a beer. This is a speakeasy in a glass.
