Back in 2012, somewhere between prairie wind and outlaw optimism, Chase Healey and his brother Colin cracked open Prairie Artisan Ales in Krebs, Oklahoma, partnering with the century-old, wonderfully stubborn Krebs Brewing — guardians of the legendary Choc Beer flame. Chase handled the liquid sorcery while Colin unleashed a riot of cartoonish, eye-popping label art, turning bottles into tiny psychedelic manifestos. Prairie Bomb soon detonated across the beer world, a velvet-hammer imperial stout stuffed with adjuncts and ambition, nudging an entire generation toward bigger, darker, stranger pleasures.
Then Chase did the brave, restless thing. He sold Prairie, packed up the curiosity, and with his wife Erica opened a dream-within-a-dream in Tulsa: American Solera. This wasn’t about trends so much as time — coolships breathing Oklahoma air, mixed fermentations flirting with chaos, barrels quietly rewriting the future one sip at a time. The gamble paid off fast and loud: RateBeer crowned American Solera the best new brewery in the country and second best in the world in 2016, the very year the doors swung open. In 2023, the James Beard Foundation came knocking too, naming American Solera an Outstanding Bar semifinalist, which feels about right for a place that treats beer like philosophy with bubbles.
Today, Peaks & Pints pours a cross-section of that beautiful weirdness into a single, deliberate arc — a flight of American Solera beers built for wandering minds and curious palates. We’re calling it Peaks & Pints Beer Flight: American Solera. Drink slowly. Listen closely. These beers have stories.
