Everybody’s Brewing announced its spring seasonal 22-ounce bottle will be a farmhouse ale brewed with pear juice, Get A Pear. The beer was fermented with a never before used Belgian Saison yeast strain from Imperial Organic Yeast, and used a grain bill that was made up of 25 percent flaked rice. Jarrlo and Centennial hops are featured, and near the very end of fermentation, organic pear juice was added to the tanks.

Hellbent Brewing in Seattle will host the Brewshed Luau April 8. The Hawaiian-themde party will benefit Washington Wild, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting Washington’s wild forests, waters and wildlife. The event includes live music, hula dancers, food and, of course, beer.

Black Raven Brewery will release its Wisdom Seeker Double IPA Friday, March 10. Wisdom Seeker Double IPA gets its special powers from an enormous amount of hops and malted barley. Brewed in the West Coast Double IPA style, this bold brew features massive citrus and herbal hop additions and a full hop aroma.

Pike Brewing’s Hive Five is now available year-round in eye-catching 12 oz. cans. Breakside Brewery, one of Portland’s most beloved brewers, opened its third location in Portland, Slabtown 10-barrel brewpub. Owner Scott Lawrence, brewmaster Ben Edmunds and Slabtown head brewer Will Jaquiss call it a “hop lab.”
