DESCRIPTION:Peaks and Pints Golden Road Booboolala Tortoises\nThe day is almost upon us\, yes\, the big day! Booboolala band’s first acoustic show! That’s right\, folks. The quintet will take its mix of pop-infused party funk\, backpack rap and new R&B anthems on the down low. \nBut\, what to pair with such a monumental event? \nGolden Road Brewing Co. beers! \nPeople travel to Los Angeles to see a number of things: Hollywood. High-speed chases. Breast implants. Beer. Yup\, the City of Angels has made huge golden inroads in beer\, including Golden Road Brewing\, which will party with Booboolala AND Drinking For Conservation at Peaks and Pints this Thursday\, July 5. \nGolden Road Brewing was founded in the L.A. suburb of Glendale in October 2011 with a focus on sustainability and community support. We’re tapping three of the brewery’s Cart beers — a series inspired by the iconic fruit cart vendors of Los Angeles. Mango Cart\, Melon Cart and Pineapple Cart are light\, refreshing wheat ales with lots of fresh mango\, melon and pineapple\, with a pleasant\, slightly tart finish. \nWe’ll also tap the brewery’s Wolf Pup Session IPA\, Right Said Red Ale\, GRB Blonde and our favorite\, Wolf Among Weeds\, a sticky icky weed-y double IPA where mild bitterness grips the tongue with orange peel fingers. \nAnd\, yes\, the awesome Suzanne and her Drinking For Conservation posse will be in the house helping save endangered radiated tortoises.
