DESCRIPTION:Peaks and Pints Spread The Jam\nPeaks & Pints can’t hear The Allman Brothers Band’s “Mountain Jam” without smelling raspberry jam on toast\, sunscreen\, and peaches from a tumbler of Logsdon Peche ‘N Brett on the beach. Gov’t Mule’s “Thorazine Shuffle” will always slam-bang into “Thelonius Beck\,” and hearing those two songs instantly transports us to blueberry orange marmalade muffins and North Coast Tart Cherry Berliner Weisse sips next to an afternoon campfire. Umphrey’s McGee’s “Miss Tinkle’s Overture\,” cantaloupe preserves with cinnamon\, and Dogfish Head Festina Peche on the front porch — yes\, thank you! It wasn’t until we heard The Electric Peanut Butter Company’s “Spread the Jam” that we knew we needed to\, well\, spread the jam. The first annual Peaks and Pints Spread The Jam will be part of our 2021 Tacoma Beer Week celebration. \nWednesday\, Aug. 11\, Peaks and Pints will combine local jam makers\, fruit beers\, and jam music into one glorious night. Tumwater jam maker Ila’s Foods will be in the house with their jams and jellies\, including a selection to pair with beer. Our Western red cedar tap log will be consumed by notable fruit beers and fruited sours.
