No speeches\, just reverence. \nOn July 21\, 1831\, Belgium officially broke from the Dutch and crowned Leopold I as its first king. Since then\, Belgian National Day has stood not only for independence\, but for cultural devotion to the finer things: surrealist art\, inexplicable fashion\, world-class frites\, and beer so elegant it deserves its own cathedral. Every July\, the streets of Brussels echo with fireworks\, parades\, and the clinking of chalices—because if you’re going to honor a nation’s soul\, it should probably involve a Tripel. Belgian Independence Pour \nWe call it Belgian Independence Pour—an all-day homage to the sacred fermentations of the Low Countries.
