SUMMARY:Peaks and Pints Orval Day 2022
DESCRIPTION:Peaks and Pints Orval Day 2022\nPlease visit Peaks and Pints as we join the top beer bars from across the globe in celebrating Orval Day 2022 Saturday\, May 21. Orval Day celebrates a global flavor touchstone\, a beer brewed within the walls of Belgian’s Notre Dame d’Orval monastery with a thousand-year history: Orval Trappist Ale. Intensely aromatic and dry\, this Belgian pale ale is as complex as it is unique. Orval is bottle conditioned with three different malts\, two types of hops\, and undergoes complex fermentation with multiple yeasts including Brettanomyces. Peaks & Pints will offer Orval bottles to drink inside our craft beer lodge\, or to take home. If you are celebrating at home follow these steps. First\, grab your beer-clean Orval chalice. Second\, gently pour until you have one centimeter of beer left in the bottle (per the instruction of the brewery). And last but not least\, bask in the glory of this unique\, Brett-y\, dry-hopped wonder of Belgian craftsmanship. By participating in this event\, you are also contributing to a great cause. On this day\, Orval distributor Merchant du Vin will be making a charitable donation to the National Forest Foundation. \nPEAKS AND PINTS ORVAL DAY 2022\, 11 a.m. to midnight\, Saturday\, May 21\, 3816 N. 26th St.\, Basecamp Proctor\, Tacoma

SUMMARY:Peaks and Pints Friday The Firkinteenth
DESCRIPTION:Peaks and Pints Friday The Firkinteenth\nNobody really knows for sure where Friday the 13th originated. Some say it arose after Philip IV of France arrested hundreds of Knights Templar on Friday\, Oct. 13\, 1307. But most likely nobody figured out that date until the 20th century. Then Dan Brown popularized it in The DaVinci Code. Thanks\, buddy. Taylor Swift was born on the 13th and turned 13 on a Friday the 13th\, so it’s her lucky number! Squee! And\, Peaks & Pints taps a firkin every Friday the 13th\, which is this Friday. \nPeaks and Pints will host Friday The Firkinteenth at 5 p.m. Friday\, May 13 featuring Machine House Brewery walking underneath our ladder\, around our black cat and plopping a firkin on our bar counter for those lucky folks hanging with us on a unlucky night. \nPEAKS AND PINTS FRIDAY THE FIRKINTEENTH\, 5 p.m.\, Friday\, May 13\, Peaks and Pints\, 3816 N. 26th St.\, Basecamp Proctor\, Tacoma\, no cover

DESCRIPTION:Tournament of Beer: Northwest Lagers Championship Game Party\nFor three weeks\, Peaks and Pints challenged 64 of the Pacific Northwest’s best lagers to go crispy boi-to-crispy boi in a showdown of craft combat. It will be do-or-die\, win-or-fly\, bring-your-best-or-oxidize. Saturday\, April 30\, is the Peaks and Pints Tournament of Beer: Northwest Lagers Championship game. Online voting will end at 4 p.m. Saturday Voting will resume at 5 p.m. live at the Tournament of Beers Party at Peaks and Pints in Tacoma’s Proctor District. SUMMARY:Reuben’s Brews Dream Team Tacoma Release Party
DESCRIPTION:Reuben’s Brews Dream Team Tacoma Release Party\nReuben’s Brews continues their 10th Anniversary celebration reuniting their friends Fort George Brewery and Great Notion Brewing — the team behind the spectacular 2017 Fort George 3-Way IPA. The Seattle brewery brings the other two breweries back\, this time to Seattle\, to meld minds and brewer paddle techniques for the satisfying hazy IPA\, Dream Team Hazy IPA. Peaks & Pints will host the Tacoma release party 6-8 p.m. Tuesday\, March 15\, which will include special one-off beers from Reuben’s Brews’ cellar.\nDream Team Hazy IPA beer comes in loaded with fresh juicy flavors of grapefruit\, stone fruit\, passionfruit\, and a bit of pineapple in the pleasant lingering finish. Its cloudy appearance is lighter in color and offers a nice white head. The malt bill of Dream Team includes Gambrinus Pils\, Malted Oats\, Flaked Oats\, and Flaked Rice while the hop bill shines with Cryo Simcoe\, Nelson Sauvin\, Riwaka\, and Citra Incognito. Dream Team sits at well-hidden 7.2 percent ABV. \n“With this new collaboration we didn’t just want to recreate the beer we brewed five years ago\, so we focused on trying to recapture the magic that made that collaboration a success\,” says Reuben’s Brews Co-Founder Adam Robbings in a news release. “We’ve all learned a lot since then\, and we all brought new ideas to the table this time around. It felt like the old days\, just having fun\, trying new ideas\, playfully one-upping each other.” \nREUBEN’S BREWS DREAM TEAM TACOMA RELEASE PARTY\, 6-8 p.m.\, Tuesday\, March 15\, Peaks & Pints\, 3816 N. 26th St.\, Basecamp Proctor\, Tacoma \nLINK: Peaks & Pints cooler inventory

From our barstool or from your couch\, enjoy stouts\, milk stouts\, masks\, imperial stouts\, pastry stouts\, masks\, Russian imperial stouts\, nitro stouts\, masks\, and other stouts made with malts that are roasted to within an inch of their lives\, making them inky black\, thick as Alaskan crude and intensely flavored. \nPEAKS AND PINTS ESCAPE TO STOUT MOUNTAIN\, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily\, Feb. 1-28\, Peaks and Pints\, 3816 N. 26th St.\, Basecamp Proctor\, Tacoma\, no cover \nSafety Is Priority Number One\nFace masks must be worn when not eating and drinking — especially ordering from the bar or on trips to the restrooms. \nOne of the most fulfilling aspects of our craft beer and cider bar\, bottle shop and restaurant is being a gathering place for the community. It’s a role we do not take for granted\, and there are many responsibilities that come along with it — the health and safety of our guests and staff being at the top of the list. As a neighborhood restaurant\, we take pride in our commitment to providing a clean\, safe\, and vibrant environment. Please rest assured that Peaks & Pints has built upon these best practices to follow the COVID-19 protocol provided by the CDC. \nWe’re open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday\, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday\, but we hope to return to “before times” hours when we’re able to seat at full capacity. \nHope to see you soon. \nLINK: Peaks & Pints cooler inventory

SUMMARY:Peaks And Pints Double Mountain Twosday
DESCRIPTION:Peaks And Pints Double Mountain Twosday\nIf two is your lucky number\, Tuesday\, Feb. 22\, 2022\, could be another amazing day. \nFirst\, we will refer you back to February 2\, 2022 (otherwise known as 2.2.22) when Peaks & Pints tapped two beers from Two Beers Brewing — each ran through our Coleman Coolernator\, a double Randle beer and cider infusion device hidden inside a 1970s camping cooler. \nPeaks & Pints will haul out the Coolernator again\, this time on Twosday\, Feb. 22 (otherwise known as 2.22.22) and invite Double Mountain Brewery & Cidery (get it?) to run their Tossed Apples Dry Cider\, our house cider for 2022\, plus one of their beers\, through our Coolernator. \nCall it our civic duty. We had to step it up a level. This calendar occurrence doesn’t come around often … next one is March 20\, 2023 … so you should be celebrating Feb. 22. With an infused cider and beer. Join us. \nDouble Mountain will be in the house beginning at 5 p.m. Why not 2:22 p.m.? Peaks co-owners and twins Robby and Justin Peterson have spa appointments scheduled at that time. Too bad!\n.\nPEAKS AND PINTS DOUBLE MOUNTAIN TWOSDAY\, 5 p.m.\, Tuesday\, Feb. 22\, 2022\, Peaks & Pints\, 3816 N. 26th St.\, Basecamp Proctor\, Tacoma

DESCRIPTION:Peaks and Pints Escape To Stout Mountain\nNow in its sixth year\, this year’s Peaks & Pints February Stout Month celebration — this year titled “Peaks and Pints Escape To Stout Mountain” — has all the things you’d expect: powerlifters with snarky comments\, scads of barrel aged stouts; banished porters trying to sneak on draft; Fremont Brewing grabbing headliner status; in-jokes for those who have actually climbed Stout Mountain near Salem; and lots of frenetic action in lieu of supply chain co-operation. \nIn others words: A kick ass time! \nThe Tacoma Proctor District craft beer lodge\, bottle shop and restaurant will tap five stouts on our Western cedar tap log through February for in-house enjoyment and Campfire Crowler carry outs.
