SUMMARY:Peaks and Pints Escape To Stout Mountain
DESCRIPTION:Peaks and Pints Escape To Stout Mountain\nNow in its sixth year\, this year’s Peaks & Pints February Stout Month celebration — this year titled “Peaks and Pints Escape To Stout Mountain” — has all the things you’d expect: powerlifters with snarky comments\, scads of barrel aged stouts; banished porters trying to sneak on draft; Fremont Brewing grabbing headliner status; in-jokes for those who have actually climbed Stout Mountain near Salem; and lots of frenetic action in lieu of supply chain co-operation. \nIn others words: A kick ass time! \nThe Tacoma Proctor District craft beer lodge\, bottle shop and restaurant will tap five stouts on our Western cedar tap log through February for in-house enjoyment and Campfire Crowler carry outs. From our barstool or from your couch\, enjoy stouts\, milk stouts\, masks\, imperial stouts\, pastry stouts\, masks\, Russian imperial stouts\, nitro stouts\, masks\, and other stouts made with malts that are roasted to within an inch of their lives\, making them inky black\, thick as Alaskan crude and intensely flavored. \nPEAKS AND PINTS ESCAPE TO STOUT MOUNTAIN\, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily\, Feb. 1-28\, Peaks and Pints\, 3816 N. 26th St.\, Basecamp Proctor\, Tacoma\, no cover \nSafety Is Priority Number One\nFace masks must be worn when not eating and drinking — especially ordering from the bar or on trips to the restrooms. \nOne of the most fulfilling aspects of our craft beer and cider bar\, bottle shop and restaurant is being a gathering place for the community. It’s a role we do not take for granted\, and there are many responsibilities that come along with it — the health and safety of our guests and staff being at the top of the list. As a neighborhood restaurant\, we take pride in our commitment to providing a clean\, safe\, and vibrant environment. Please rest assured that Peaks & Pints has built upon these best practices to follow the COVID-19 protocol provided by the CDC. \nWe’re open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday\, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday\, but we hope to return to “before times” hours when we’re able to seat at full capacity. \nHope to see you soon. \nLINK: Peaks & Pints cooler inventory

SUMMARY:Peaks and Pints Two Beers Twosday with Groundhog
DESCRIPTION:Peaks and Pints Two Beers Twosday with Groundhog\nOK\, campers\, rise and shine! Peaks & Pints has invited Two Beers Brewing to run two of their beers through a double Randle beer infuser on Groundhog Day. We’re calling it Peaks and Pints Two Beers Twosday with Groundhog. That’s right! Wednesday\, Feb. 2\, is 2/2/22. Of course\, we invited Two Beers to tap two of their beers and run them through our double Randle Coleman Cooler. The fact that the event is also Groundhog Day equals a bonus. Two Beers will be in the house beginning at 6 p.m. Why not 2:22 p.m.? Peaks co-owners and twins Robby and Justin Peterson have a haircut scheduled at that time. Too bad! \nRemember: If groundhog Punxsutawney Phil leaves his hole and sees his shadow\, it means we will have six more weeks of winter. If he nibbles on the bark of a neighboring tree\, it means we have to be better about attending our jazzercise class. \nPEAKS AND PINTS TWO BEERS TWOSDAY WITH GROUNDHOG\, 6 p.m.\, Wednesday\, Feb. 2\, 2022\, Peaks & Pints\, 3816 N. 26th  St.\, Basecamp Proctor\, Tacoma \nP.S. See you 2/22/22 for Double Mountain Double Randle Night!

SUMMARY:The Beer Aquatic with 7 Seas and Wet Coast
DESCRIPTION:The Beer Aquatic with 7 Seas and Wet Coast\nThere’s nothing worse than awakening from a long winter’s nap\, rolling out of bed\, and discovering it’s two days before Christmas — and not a creature is stirring. But you’d better not cry\, and you don’t need to pout\, because Peaks & Pints has crafted a holiday festival Dec. 23\, “The Beer Aquatic with 7 Seas and Wet Coast.” The local breweries collaborated on the Rising Tide Baltic Porter\, which will be tapped at 5 p.m.\, Thursday\, Dec. 23\, at Peaks. So\, get your jollies\, and jingle a little\, too\, because we have that whole day planned for you. \nTHURSDAY\, DEC. 23: The Beer Aquatic\n>>> Wake up at 6 a.m. \n>>> Throw on your wet suit and swim in Commencement Bay. It’ll work out your entire body — arms\, legs\, shoulders\, lungs\, heart — as well as turn you blue. \n>>> Crank your home’s heat\, throw on your Team Zissou bathrobe\, and sip on a 7 Seas IPA while cooking tuna cakes for breakfast. \n>>> Dress in your light blue retro-inspired uniform\, red knit cap\, and Adidas striped sneakers\, crack open a Wet Coast Cream Ale and stream Wes Anderson’s The Life Aquatic. Feel thankful you’re not dealing with pirates\, kidnapping\, and bankruptcy. \n>>> Head to Wet Coast Brewing in Gig Harbor\, order a pint of On The Sly Cold IPA\, and read up on Baltic porters on your phone. You’ll discover Baltic porters evolved in the 18th century from the British porter. It was designed to be shipped across the North Sea to the lands of the Baltic Sea. Much of the beer was destined for Russia. It is similar to and closely associated with the Russian imperial stout. While porters and imperial stouts are ales\, the Baltic porter is made using lager yeast and fermented at colder temperatures. The strong lager is known for an assertive chocolate malt that imparts sweetness and often hints of toffee\, licorice\, and roastedness. \n>>> Stop by The Foss Waterway Seaport and check out the new exhibit\, “Shipwrecks – Duty of Memory.” It’s a photography exhibition by Italian photographer Stefano Benazzo. \n>>> Head up the hill to 7 Seas Brewing\, grab a can of Heidelberg\, and sing a sea shanty in the massive taproom. \n>>> At 5 p.m.\, head to Peaks & Pints for the 7 Seas/Wet Coast Rising Tide Baltic Porter collaboration release party. Several beers from both breweries will be on tap\, including their IPAs ran through special ingredients in the new Peaks & Pints Coleman Coolernator. Special gift will be wrapped under the tree for winning raffle tickets. Bring canned food for the Hoppy Holidays Food Drive. \n>>> End the night dressed as Poseidon\, God of the Sea\, jigging for squid from The Les Davis Pier. \nThe Beer Aquatic with 7 Seas and Wet Coast — Rising Tide Baltic Porter Release Party\, 5-8 p.m. Thursday\, Dec. 23\, Peaks & Pints\, 3816 N. 26th St.\, Basecamp Proctor\, Tacoma\, 253.328.5621

SUMMARY:Celebrate Abt 12 Day at Peaks
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Abt 12 Day at Peaks\nJoin Peaks & Pints as we celebrate the beer that celebrates itself! \nOne of the world’s most beloved and highly regarded beers takes the spotlight Sunday\, 12/ 12 with the return of St. Bernardus Abt 12 Day! Peaks & Pints will celebrate Abt 12 all day Sunday with Abt 12 bottles in the cooler\, plus Abt 12 Nitro and St. Bernardus Christmas Ale on tap with cool glassware giveaways\, while supplies last. \nImported by Browar Polska\, Brouwerij St. Bernard’s  St. Bernardus Abt 12 (10%) has long been recognized as one of the best beers in the world. It’s made from one of the original recipes from the days of license-brewing for the Trappist monks of Westvleteren\, so it drinks like its famous Trappist cousin. It’s a balanced beer\, with a full-bodied taste and a perfect equilibrium between malty\, bitter\, and sweet. This beer excels because of its long bittersweet finish and hoppy bite. Christmas Ale is the brewery’s Abt 12 offering gussied up with rich malt\, dark dried fruit\, fig\, hints of anise\, nutmeg\, cinnamon\, brown sugar. \nLINK: Peaks & Pints cooler inventory
